I really think that $700 price point is encroaching on PC pricing. It just doesn't make sense to buy a Pro at that price, when you can build or have a pc built for a few hundred more.
I was dreading the price reveal, knowing if it was $500, I'd likely jump on it, despite my reservations. But $700 without a disk drive or a horizontal stand, which is how my PS5 is stored, that's just ridiculous. It's not a matter of not having the money. I just can't support a mid-gen refresh with its limited updated specs and the unwanted storage space, at the price. It's a vote with my wallet.
