There seems to be an overheating flaw with the current adapter

I still have noise and connection issues with my pulse elite

Damn, that sucks, I would hope that maybe it doesn't overheat and is in a better location for the console. MY adapter gets scorching hot and the sound crackles and I lose connections occassionally even to this day, but what's so friggin annoying about it is that it's not consistent - some days are perfect! But they are rare. I don't understand why this isn't fixed.

Yeah it's been less than a year and I'm considering sending it back to Sony…I think it's still under warranty?

The quality control on an elite headset is absolutely unacceptable

Have you tried a USB hub? I only have the Explore but the adapter does not get hot and I don't get disconnects.

Same. Worth a try before you try warranty.

Mine is plugged I will directly to the front. Read try the back ports, no difference

There was always something about the back ports and their power draw. Some usb DACs wouldn't work for some reason. I have a mic receiver, a USB mic, a USB drive and the link adapter plugged into an Amazon basics hub and I haven't had issues.

Get a HDMI splitter with optical out.

I did, but I shouldn't have to. I also got a UAC1 DAC before HDMI 2.1 audio extractors became available.

Does the online activation for the drive even matter? Isn't it just a one time thing?

I think it matters when you for some reason need to do a factory reset or change into a new drive. The point is, its a potential "point of failure" that the original base mode did not have.

Guess I was wrong about the PS5 Pro increasing the amount of DDR. The leaks didn't mention that at all.
PS5 has 512 GB of DDR4.

Which is correct. I would still say fake though. Not feeling it.

Edit: 60 CUs @ 2.1 Ghz peak is 16.1 without the dual issue. So it's probably close enough at least.

Where is 16.1 coming from? I only see 16.7 tf, which would correspond to 33.5 dual issue from the original leaks.

They added memory in PS4 pro, it was used mostly for system I think?

They already said that they will enable more ram for developers so maybe that ddr5 offloads memory used for system to some extend.

Well to be fair, if you use it in horizontal position you don't really need it, I removed mine from my OG PS5 one week after launch and never put ir back.
