You don't have to dispel anything. Keep hitting him. Or slap poison on him. Stagger him.
 
I wonder if careful leveling of the crystarium actually makes a difference in the end. I focused on strength for both noel and serah. Could you guys post your base stats for them? Remember to remove your accessories and if you can't remove the weapon, buy the weakest one from the shop. I'll post my stats in a minute.

Well I heard about Jihl a week before it was leaked on 2ch from someone I know. If you want proof, ask Kagari for it ;). So its legit to me, the persons info Sazh dlc was right too.

Yeah I just beat him. My SAB and SYN were pretty under leveled. The debuffing and buffing helped me survive his attacks when I went all out after the first stagger. Apparently all it took was swapping out my Behemoth COM for a smaller monster COM that hit more often.

That's boring.
I prefer Superman's explanation. It doesn't even make sense, why would she have a head on top of her other head if she was just a humanized chocobo? Why does it have X's for eyes and generally look dead as fuck?

It is kinda a nice little mystery though, when I read the fragment from the casino I was like wait..... woah! Before then I hadn't really taken much from her "I'm not human after all!" type things.

Funny to imagine the theories.

Having her in the party would be cool, hope you can fight in the coliseum one day.

I had hope, too. I got a few questions at first that were weird, but still were things you would reasonably know. Like the one that mentions the "most common cactaur" and then asks the color. Then it just goes off the fucking deep end with nonsense that you would never know without guessing / memorizing the questions. So bad.

. Should I go anywhere, get anything or capture any monsters before I do? My pack is Albino Lobo, Pulse Knight and Flanitor. Any monsters that I can get now that are better than mine?

There is, but don't worry too much about it. I 100%'ed the game and if I need a sentinel for a particular battle I still put the Pulse Knight in even though I have far better sentinel monsters captured already.
 
Shouldn't they have released all this costume DLC earlier. I'd think a sizable amount of potential customers would have finished the game by now.

Maybe... but people hate on day 1 DLC too. You can't win. This also has the effect of deterring people from trading in their copy and adding another used copy to the market.

Does seem a bit silly. I wonder if the success(?) of the alternate costumes for Dissidia gave them misguided inspiration here.
