So in Canada, TSN/CTV/RDS do the coverage, and I'm trying to find a live stream for it, but... On their website, all I can find is replays and highlights, the only place I was able to find a livestream is the CTV iPhone app that works flawlessly (they show Federer-Falla atm, the same they show on TV). I just can't seem to find a live stream link on ctvolympics.ca, am I just stupid or do they only have a livestream on mobile devices? The OP doesn't include Canada

Today has been very satisfying to watch. Flicked through a ton of different events throughout the day along with this thread and enjoyed every single minute of it. Good start to the Olympics and I hope tomorrow brings more of the same, if not better. Monday is going to be different since I'll be travelling to London to attend the games for a few days. Boxing, table tennis and weightlifting, I can't wait!

Also, I hope he gets back to the podium this year. He won a bronze in Greece, but only ranked 11th in the 50 metres freestyle, and 20th in the 100 metres. But looking at his time, I don't think he'll advance. I hope he does, but realistically... I don't think he'll make it.

FIVB (International Volleyball Federation), but it's not really surprising, it's one of the most popular sport in schools.
I never said it is more popular (if you mean people playing the sport). There are not enough courts for people to play.
But saying it is a diversion is just stupid. It gets more TV coverage in Europe than "real" volleyball.
What part of Europe are you talking about? I live in Europe and volleyball here is huge everywhere, definitely gets a lot more coverage than beach volley.

The same thing happens to me. It'll run fine for around 15 or so minutes and then I have to restart it because it keeps lagging.
I'll have to figure out a compromise between watching events live and then watching them on CTV West with a 3h delay... somehow... I don't wanna get up at 3am.
It is fine for my on my iPad and iPhone, but on my iMac or MacBook pro it is choppy as hell. I blame Flash.

I think I figured it out, at least for Table Tennis. The NBC site is currently showing Table Tennis as "Live", but it's actually showing a replay. The replay video is actually listed as a replay as well. Checking the schedule, each match is allotted 45 minutes, so that it should finish up in about three hours. Three hours and five minutes after the matches started, the Live feed cut out. If you watch the replay, it cuts out in the middle of the last match.
In summary: NBC will stream all events live until they are scheduled to end, not when they actually do.
