Doesn't make it any less pathetic. I don't think anybody has any real problem with their primetime coverage either. Just air those events live also, and don't take away the replays on your website to "save them" for primetime. I will say though, at least they live stream them on their website.

The Canadian TV industry is much diffrent than the US one. The Affilates for NBC are already pissed enough at Corprate, because of the prime time issues. Ironicly they did the primetime showcase because prime time is so fucking weak for NBC is laughable.

If they take 15 players for the bigger names it would be a disaster. let the pro sevens play.

The Affilates is just as much at fault if not more so. They dont want to have a "empty" prime time lineup in the summer, which fucks up fall promotion. Of course it should air live, but their Prime Time is so fucking weak, and has been for YEARS.

Just rewatched the Judo match where Antoine Valois-Fortier won bronze. Man he looked so happy after winning. :)

I like this Aussie duo commentating on the Australia v Germany hockey match.

Third time I've heard them now. They're really knowledgeable and engaging.

Sometimes, the commercial are horribly timed, you miss nice plays, and wonder what happened, they also mess up on the scoreboard.
 
Guy on the news just said Team GB is where they should be for that 48 medal/4th place target they set before the games, but tomorrow is an important day for us.

Rowing in the morning. Cycling in the afternoon. Could be a very big day for GB.

Ok on court 2 was WD china vs Korea. Both pairs TRYING to lose!!! This is why the group system DOESN'T work!!! Tactically play for a gd draw

Group stages for the lose. Both team playing each other in the badminton trying to throw the match for an easier route to the final. Disgusting gaming of the system if you ask me.

That was great too, but I was talking about Germany - Denmark (men). It would have been amazing if Ariel Hsing made to the semifinal to play against the Chinese player, suck she had to play her so early in the tournament.
 
Is it just me or are the Australian field hockey players unusually hot?

They are tearing the German team apart, too :(

I really wonder if there's any skill gap in field hockey, it looks relatively easy compared to the other team sports. it always seems like it comes down to athletics / who runs more.
