There is actually some promising young talent at the U23 level, they just severely under-performed in the tournament. Sometimes that happens, especially with young squads (see: Spain in these Olympics).

When one trains for something, you inevitably fuck up at first - sometimes horribly. If you fuck up horribly in gymnastics, you break your neck.
