Why in Volleyball, does each side have someone in a different color kit?
Libero.
He has to defend.

When he's out of the house tomorrow I'm going to change the router settings to limit the amount of data he gets. I am that sort of guy.lol I am probably going to be fucked in a couple weeks myself. I had actually forgotten about my cap.

They're defensive specialists I think.
Libero, defensive specialist, special sub rules, cannot block or spike.

Okay thanks, It's been bugging me.They are the Libero or Libero player. They are a defensive expert so to speak, meant to receive the serve and dig the ball and keep the rallies going. They can't attack though, and they can be subbed in or out as many times as needed in a game, they don't count towards subs.
IIRC.
Probably...I don't really find him too likeable personally but maybe it's his way of avoiding the hysteria

Just found it, it wasWhich match was this?
Good to see loads of us posting about the volleyball. I know I keep saying it but it's has me hooked since day one. The quality has been really good, I've always felt entertained when watching it.
Brazil said:The only thing about the girls' performance is that everyone in the press is actually putting pressure on them. Usually we get commentators sugar-coating their words, but no one is hiding their disappointment with them right now. There's no freaking reason for them to be playing so badly.
There are 6 Olympic champions in the roster, FFS.
That czech girl, those freckles and that body. I'm in love.
I'm gonna be a volleyboll coach.
I'm pretty surprised that Brazil isn't as dominating as it should be. In theory Brazil should be the only team that could beat the US.
Such a fantastic atmosphere in beach volleyball. I love it.
The number 10 is 1m92, daaaaamn, that's my size !
One thing that makes volleyball great is that the women version is just as good as the male one, only different. While other women team sports range from slightly watchable (football) to completely unwatchable (bastketball). Women handball is good too.

Yea make me cringe. These guys are monsters. These slow motion replays! Crikey....
That's absolutely right. Everyone is basically flabbergasted with the whole situation. It's not that our adversaries are playing exceptionally well either - the girls are making the most basic and stupid mistakes every single play. They're losing to themselves.
Wich game and wich player?
Got to go today for the midday session. It was amazing, the sun even came out. The cheering for GB Men was epic even though we lost!
The libero is a player specialized in defensive skills: the libero must wear a contrasting jersey color from his or her teammates and cannot block or attack the ball when it is entirely above net height. When the ball is not in play, the libero can replace any back-row player, without prior notice to the officials. This replacement does not count against the substitution limit each team is allowed per set, although the libero may be replaced only by the player whom he or she replaced.
The libero may function as a setter only under certain restrictions. If she/he makes an overhand set, she/he must be standing behind (and not stepping on) the 3-meter line; otherwise, the ball cannot be attacked above the net in front of the 3-meter line. An underhand pass is allowed from any part of the court.
The libero is, generally, the most skilled defensive player on the team. There is also a libero tracking sheet, where the referees or officiating team must keep track of who the libero subs in and out for. There may only be one libero per set (game), although there may be a different libero in the beginning of any new set (game).
Furthermore, a libero is not allowed to serve, according to international rules.
I know what you mean, but I do believe the South Koreans are playing very well.
This seems really complicated. Why is this necessary and/or how does it benefit the game?
