You can't knight him twice!
Ser Hoy - a Legend.

This one?
Must be because it's BBC2 and the cycling was on 1, but they cut back to the cycling JUST as it ended.
Anyways great job team GB![]()
They wouldn't have even gotten bronze technically. Their last run was worse than the Australians.
The GB DQ/relegation was clear though, they had great pictures for that. The riders were clearly at fault and an appeal wouldn't have changed anything. Not sure why people are complaining about the rules. Maybe it should just be a time penalty, I don't know, but the rule itself is perfectly understandable. You can't change riders before your team mate completes their lap.
In regards to the Chinese team relegation, the pictures I saw were terrible and showed nothing. I'm assuming the judges had better footage to look at, from the same camera that provided the footage of the GB team's fault, otherwise it's pretty baffling. They were really unlucky. Break the world record twice and walk away without the gold? Shattering.
Olympic boxing doesn't exist. Yall should know this already.
Damn, that was a nice race.
Congrats, GB.
I noticed they fucked up their fencing feed too. Thus I'm using BBC's stream instead.
HOY IS SUCH A BEAST.
Track domination as expected. Fucking beautiful. This track is amazing. So many WR to come.
It really is.WAter polo is so goofy lol. So many bourgeois sports in the olympics...
Wondered about that, is the track playing a role in performance ? Beaucause those WR were just tumbling.
It really is.
It's pretty boring to watch.
Man I hate NBC's USA-centric broadcasting schedule. I wanna watch the velodrome dammit, not this ridiculous water polo match.

They were unlucky but nothing more. I mean look at how close all these teams are, Germany playing it safe during the exchanges could've been the difference between winning and losing. The Chinese risked more and got burned, too bad.
I don't get the rules for fencing. Girl from Korea gets the first hit yet the girl from France gets the point, dumb as hell.

Some weird cycling thing....and I don't have a clue what sport GB just won.
Seriously.
Relegations and changes of results (especially in finals) should always have overwhelming evidence, otherwise the benefit of the doubt should be with the status quo. Especially with no right of appeal. I saw nothing in the replays that made it clear that the Chinese broke the rules, hopefully the officials will release better pics.
Right-of-way rules in fencing make no sense to me. They apply for Foil and Sabre styles. I'm glad Epee style has none of that nonsense.
