Brazil was all over Japan in the first 20 minutes though.
Well I just tuned in, then I only saw Japan domination.

Not unlike the men's team.
There's a huge difference between bad and vomit-inducing.
phew, Tsonga/Llodra break right back, thought they were gone for sure.
You would think a defense containing Thiago Silva, Marcelo, and Alex Sandro would be more solid than what it has shown. There's a huge difference between bad and vomit-inducing.
What happened? I've not really watched cycling much today.Just read about Philip Hindes. Freaking disgraceful.
I wish France Tv would show that instead of sailing.

There's a stream for it on the France 2 website

The badminton scandal saw teams from China, Indonesia and South Korea expelled from the Olympics on Wednesday for deliberately losing in order to manipulate their route through the knockout stages. The teams were booed off court by spectators at Wembley Arena.
Adams said the cycling incident was different because paying fans "were not deprived of a competition."
"The race took place and I believe we could clearly say that best efforts were made in that competition by the British team," he said.
French officials did not formally complain about the British tactic.
"You have to make the most of the rules. You have to play with them in a competition and no one should complain about that," the France teams's technical director, Isabelle Gautheron, told the Associated Press.
I've really been enjoying the hockey this Olympics. I've watched all of GB girls matches.
Again, same with the Badminton girls, the rules encourage it so the federations and IOC should be put under more scrutiny than saying these athletes have no class.
He is an idiot, in one interview you could see Hoy kind of looking at him like 'Just shut up', and if the whole team was playing that way then it's a bit distasteful
He did later go back and clarify what he meant. If he wasn't German then it would have easily been considered a joke, but... German "humour" and all...He crashed on purpose so he could restart his performance and then won Gold.

The rules don't encourage it. They just allow it, in a way.
That doesn't excuse these "athletes" from being disgusting.

He doesn't serve like that against Djoker, Murray, and Nadal.Going to get roasted for this, but I wish there was less emphasis on the serve in tennis. It's boring watching federer serve love games with ace after ace. I think serving should be more like table tennis or badminton.
just looked at the medal tally... SHIT AUSTRALIA, GET IT TOGETHER.
As a matter of fact, this is not good. Brazil still has to play against Serbia, they'll get 3 points from them. We really shouldve gotten those 3 points from KOR...
It's not really disgusting.

Yeah, as above, he shouldn't of even been on the team (he's German but his dad is British, only started training in the UK in 2010) and now his stupid comments are just overshadowing the great effort made by his team members.
Only saving grace is that his actions didn't negatively impact any other teams.
Hoy looked amused if anything. He shouldn't even have been in the GB team anyway. He isn't as good as some of the other sprinters and he's German.
Very unsportsmanlike but we would have won the Gold anyway.
Hoy and Kenny looked very dissapointed when they heard him say it.
Serena at her best is leagues ahead of everyone else. Are Tennis world rankings a 2-year rolling system (like golf)??
I can't understand how the number one tennis player in the world is getting destroyed right now.
It's not really disgusting.
