Because there's barely any downside - it's a home olympics, we have to send as many athletes as we possibly can and it helps the younger ones get experience. And I dunno why you expect us to compete with US/China, that just ain't gonna happen. We're already beating Russia. Haven't you seen how well we did today? Jesus.

I know this is massively old news, but I was at Wimbledon for Quarter Final day yesterday and it was pretty awesome.
