Can't wait.

Fucking Mexico! Best game from el Tri so far. Gio at last showing what he can do, Herrera playing like a boss and Corona, man Corona, best goalkeeper we have ever had since the golden days of San Oswaldo.

Japan is going to be tough, but there's a big chance to secure a medal. Actually glad I'm eating crow about them right now.

You can determine its compatibility with its biological counterpart a variety of ways.

He's much better than I thought. A mid 45 while cruising? He'll compete. Outside looking in on medaling, though.

Easiest way is that if he wins, he had too much of an advantage. When was the last time a non-doped(east german) white person won a track event?

I don't understand this 30km Point Race

I don't either. There are apparently 6 events so its like a pentathlon with one more event. What I don't understand is the Canadian commentators said that the person with the fewest points over the 6 events wins but people in this stage are trying to win points. Confusing.

What is this long group of riders thing going on in the velodrome?

Mens Omnium

The men's cycling Omnium at the 2012 Olympic Games in London will take place at the London Velopark on 4 and 5 August.[1]

The Omnium, a new event for the Olympics, consists of six events:

Flying lap: a race against the clock;
Points race: 30 km (18.6 mi) for men, 20 km (12.4 mi) for women, riders score points for sprints which occur every 10 laps during the race, and for lapping the field;
Elimination race: a bunch race with an intermediate sprint every two laps. The last rider each time is eliminated;
Individual pursuit: 4 km for men, 3 km for women, two riders start at opposite sides of the track and race against the clock;
Scratch race: a straightforward race over 16 km (9.9 mi) for men and 10 km (6.2 mi) for women. The first rider to cross the line wins;
Time trial: 1 km (0.6 mi) for men, 500m for women, each competitor rides the course aiming for the fastest time.

In each event the winner gets one point, the second placed rider gets two points, the third three points, and so on. At the end of all six events the rider with the lowest total score is the winner.[2]

Kleiza is an NBA starter, he was just hurt last year. Valanciunas was the 5th pick in last years draft, many think he'll be a star. And they have other players that could play in the NBA but they're either under contract in Europe or get paid more there then they would here like Jasikevicius.

Lithuania is a very good team in the international game (which is different from the NBA game), it wasn't just an embarrassing performance by the US this is how the games have been going between them for almost a decade. If they played with NBA rules (further 3 point line and rules that allow more isolation 1 on 1 play) US would have a bigger advantage.

considering that USA took thirty three 3 pointers, I don't know how a further 3 point line would have been an advantage to us. Sure it spreads out the floor more, but our half court offense sucks anyway.
