I hope Bolt goes all out in the final. This'll probably be his peak at the 100m.

(then he should convert to long jump and break the record there too)

Death stare:

LOL I haven't seen a picture of Maroney where she doesn't look evil

Not that y'all cared, but another medal for Mexico in diving, bronze this time. Chinese women got gold/silver, and the first place was just insane. 35 points over the second place.

Damn NBC app can't keep a solid connection. Really tired of this bullshit.

And they're showing god damn water polo on tv.

Bolt was last out of the blocks. There is no question if Bolt is ever first out of the gate, there is not doubt he can do sub 9.5

Bolt is always a bit slow out of the blocks. He does not have a sprinters stride, so he slightly lacks that initial burst. It really is amazing how fast he is with his running style.

gold and silver to china for diving. mexico gets bronze, which pretty much is gold for non-chinese.

china also got the 30rd gold, 61st medal.

Bulky? I find it interesting they're all black (not saying that's a bad thing remotely, obviously) just very interesting, are black guys just better built to run than white guys??

On the topic of Chambers, as long as he's cleared his act up I think it's unfair to keep judging him for something he did in the past. Isn't through though so doesn't matter.

we got DAT EXTRA TENDON

Why do people hate Chambers?

Basically, he doped, and he was a dick about it afterwards too (refusing to admit responsibility etc). Up until a couple of months ago the British Olympic Association had one of the toughest anti-doping stances in the world, enforcing lifetime bans for any British athlete found guilty of doping. BOA was taken the Court Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland and they ruled that the lifetime ban enforced by the BOA on all British athletes found guilty of doping was illegal. Chambers therefore only just managed to sneak into the team. British attitudes to dopers is massively different to that in some European countries (Italy, France etc) and the US. The public, the media and the BOA are much less forgiving.
