This is nothing new. They don't show swimming live, they don't show gymnastics live, they don't show track and field live.
It's annoying as fuck, but they've been doing this for years now. I'm very excited that CBC is getting the Oympics back in 2014, because we get CBC Vancouver down in Seattle.
The live stream option is nice, I was able to watch the race no problem.

The reason NBC delays the stream is because the amount of money they make from advertising depends directly on the number of people watching the channel at that time. So they show the most popular events during primetime to increase their ad revenue.
He runs the fastest any human has ever run in all of our history, regardless of distance.
I think people, including Johnson, are quite happy to accept Chambers back because he seemed quite genuine and honest with his apology. It might also have something to do with the fact that no-one really expects him to win anything again.

I watched most of the 96 Olympics on a TV like this in my dorm room in New Zealand where we only had three TV channels, and somehow that gave me a better experience for the Mens 100m final than trying to watch it on NBC in 2012 with a 25 mbps FIOS connection and full cable TV package.
Ridiculous.
Pretty much, this was fucking disgraceful, NBC is an embarrassment to the USA

I have a considerable amount more respect for endurance athletes and all-around athletes like Jessica Ennis. People like Bolt have become more celebrity than athlete.

i believe usain bolt run faster than any human before him with hitting 44.72km/h at his peak so saying he isn't the fastest man alive is wrong.
Only guy to not do his part and the irony is in the lead up they mention him as the most consistent under 10s runner and he gets injured...
