I think it's partially intentional. Well, it's not intended to go *wrong*, but it is intended that if someone is suspected to be ahead they'll arrange for an IOC member from that country to award the medals at that ceremony.

Just got back from the stadium awesome day, stadium is fantastic amazing atmosphere. Oh and those going to the park, the Javelin train is your friend, got on at 7.15 arrived at stratford 7:21 no queues fantastic. I will post some pics when i get them off my phone.
