It's pretty popular around where I live.Hmm I didn't think football was popular in Canada?
Hahaha. I'd love to see a cute little strike like that here. You aren't Buffon, McLeod. ~_~
Close one.
It's improved dramatically, but there are the rather unclean missed passes every few possessions that you don't see at the high level of men's competitions. It depends what you mean by fun. This game has been as messy as hell, with a crazy amount of mistakes.
I don't watch women's football usually so I don't know if it's the norm.
I guess because of that it is fun to watch... but not in an impressive kind of way.

Yep, very good for a women's football match. Like I said, I think a lot of people probably decided not to go because GB weren't playing. They said 30k which is an impressive number for a game not involving GB.
Well, one of our athletes in heptathlon was falsely disqualified at first and our fencing team got ("kinda") screwed by the judges, whereas Heidemann had an advantage due to a mistake a judge made (which - again - the Korean accepted).
That said there's been way, way too much crucial involvement by referees/judges.
Thanks. Are they partitioned or can they see each other?
what did she say?

Canada shouldn't have kicked that out. I'd have played on. PEACE.
Defensively it is a bit of a mess, and passing accuracy has been quite average, but it makes for a real wide open game with lots of tension on both halves of the pitch. It's certainly more entertaining than watching nth team bunkering against Barcelona/Spain hoping for a break-through.It depends what you mean by fun. That's a good way to get one of your teammates taken out.

Nope.Anyone else hoping for penalties?
Anyone else hoping for penalties?
Anyone else hoping for penalties?
No but I think the idea is to influence the ref over the course of the match.

With the way Hope's been playing? No....

This is the first women's soccer match I think I've ever watched. The amount of turnovers, unforced, and mindless, is fucking crazy.
I have a hard time believing a lot of these soccer injuries.
