Do the MLS clubs have youth teams?

They do, but they usually aren't that different from the other park district-run teams in the area. My city team played the Fire's youth team a few times, and they were just alright. Those teams always just seemed like money-making schemes designed to get rich parents to pay way too much for training because the team was connected to an MLS team, rather than a legitimate academy program. I think MLS teams have to draft their players anyway.
