I just checked out the temperary Olympic forum of a Chinese forum I go to. 30% of the threads were about Liu Xiang faking it; 30% other threads were about Liu Xiang didn't fake the injury. Lulz.
As far as traditional popular sport goes, I am guessing table tennis, diving and gymnastic. The Japanese female table tennist who won silver is pretty popular in China. She can speak Chinese with heavy manchurian accent.

He will make the final for sure though. I don't see why anyone would wish ill on another person, it's great to see the athletes performing so well regardless of nation.
Don't get me wrong, if it is France vs Britain (like the men's sprint final) then yeah, I'm going to support Britain, but otherwise I have no reason to want to see France lose (other than seeing the Kurt meltdowns, which are an awesome reason tbh).
