I don't think BMX should be in the olympics. Seems to require a lot of luck. They've got the X-games for this type of nonsense.

Am i the only one, feeling the olympics have been winding down for the last 2 days. Yes, the track and field have been awesome and the team sports been great to watch, but everything else, its kinda meh.

True but 3 standings count = referee stoppage right, I guess if a boxer is capable he/she can go that route. Although I think the Light heavy, heavy and super heavy could probably KO someone fully, but points matter more.
Either way boxing in Olympics isnt helped by the dodgy wins and refereeing.

If you're going to make completely unattainable goals then why not just say you're going win gold in every event you take part in.
Even their combined gold and silver doesn't hit 28.
There are fewer sports, 26, in the same time frame. Next Olympics there will be 28 sports.

Golf and Rugby. Should fill out the calendar much more.
It happens. There's a lot more rounds of things they need to get through in the opening weeks so it starts out crowded. The second week always tends to thin out somewhat.
