No French there, can you comment on that?

Your hatred of the French really makes you look stupid.

Americans saying Chinese swimmers dope, must be the French sour grapes too right?

Or the British saying the whole world is trying to shaft them, must be the French as well.

The Americans gave it up when everyone started pointing and laughing at them.......

Anyway dude... I'm only winding you up as you're like a coiled spring. Let it go.

*Edit* My hatred of the French.... Jesus, you really do think everyone is out to get you don't you?

One fall and it's over right? (mountain cycling)

So you really don't think there's no match fixing in boxing?

Because pretty much everyone recognized it exists, not just Americans, French, etc...

Japan gets the bronze! I can't help but feel that Kim #10 from Korea deserved a medal, though.

Japan as a whole is a much better team than Korea (Japan is 5th in the ranking). Korea has Kim, who is one of the best player (last year Women's Champions League MVP), but you can't win alone in volleyball.

There's been the odd questionable decision, but there is in every sport... Better get the tinfoil hats out and start gibbering...

I think the German girl should be penalised or something she basically just stopped instead of letting the other girl through then recovering her bike

hahahahaha, how come boxing is the only sport with so many suspicions?

You can't say that boxing is just like other sports on that level.

Yeah That really released the French girl and the German and American battling between themselves is even better for her, kind of annoyed because it was a really nice battle between the three before that. Though still a lot to go and a lot happening. This course must be tough doesn't look like you can rest at any point

Maybe the Franch should try and save the sport of boxing like Britian did with cycling? The Tour De France, road cycling and indoor cycling was a joke before Britian decided to save and dominate it. The opportunity is there for the French to do it with boxing. Maybe instead of whining the French should just invent some magic gloves or something idk.

On another note, downhill MTB would be a great addition to the Olympics too, just for the commentary alone;

Why can't downhill riders cross over and ride XC? It would be interesting to see how they would do.

Is it possible we can get 30 golds?

I count five realistic gold chances remaining - three boxers, Mo Farah (5000m) and Mhairi Spence (Modern Pentathlon). It's mathematically feasible, at least, but certainly in no way a solid foundation to have faith in.

I should add that I also have no idea about mountain biking. Possibly we've got a decent guy up for that.

It's not just about us, I don't really care about a few medals even if I feel sad about our boxers, it's about boxing in general.

Also how did "Britian" saved cycling? :p

Ha quite a few people deciding to jump off their bike and do some of the course on foot, this course really looks punishing I respect all these women managing to keep up the pace

That's quite normal in bike cross, carrying your bike across some tough hills. I admire these guys and girls, it's dirty and extremely tough :P

Most ridiculous comment of the day so far. Good job.

Well, it's sort of true, even as the French are still trying their best to drag indoor cycling back by supporting disgusting cheats like Baugè. *spits* goes back to what Wiggins said about the laissez faire French approach to doping and how it's not accepted in Britian. Given how boxing is allegedly so corrupt, I'm surprised the French don't excel at it.

Now Farce just has to settle for XC mountain biking. lol

You're just mad now, your mountain biking contestant is aptly named.
