This is an amazing photo. I'm sort of in awe.
You know what's crazy? I actually remember typing my first post. That was 7 years ago!
For 35 bucks, I just might do it.
I don't even have a PS2 to play it anymore.
Referring to if someone should sell their 60 gig PS3 and buy a non hardware BC version to make some money.Keep it. Upscaling is a sweet deal and having the most loaded PS3 SKU out there is good in itself. I've often toyed with the same idea but in the end that $100 won't last you very long and you will end up regretting it.
Treasure it!
Meet the Spy is still king to me.
I agree. I enjoyed Meet the Medic and Meet the Pyro, but for me, Meet the Spy will remain the best trailer Valve has ever released.
Can't go back far enough?
World Tour was my go to portable game for well over a year, played the hell out of it. Pretty tough, i never did get to Number 1 in the world, but the controls were super tight and getting that classic experience on PSP was awesome.
So i can certainly vouch for its quality, and i'd imagine VT3 is similarly good, which is why i never bothered to buy it. Get whichever is cheaper.
It may have been from everybody telling me how good he was but I have to go with Soren. My god the dude sucked, people told me he would be killing crap left and right and the dude couldn't kill shit. I used Tormod instead, now he was a damn good magician, doesn't beat Lugh from FE 6, but damn Soren just completely sucked for me. I tried to level him up but it just didn't happen.
The Mafia 2 trailer was freakin sweet.. It's definitely on my 2009 must buy list!
Ermac said:I thought Radiant Dawn was quite difficult. The mid-game save feature helps bit, but I never used it. You will lose alot of the battles though. (At least I did.)
I'm pretty satisfied with the game though, luckily I was able to get it during Amazon's Gold Box sale for $30.

new forum huh.
Alright, I'm confused and upset about this.
But this isn't for you, not any of the gossipy muckety muck gutterfucking cock jockeys who can't mind their own business and thrive on keeping other people ignorant of the forum's new address they've done nothing to deserve not being told.
Whoever hid this, I'll let you have your satisfaction: whatever you tried to do, you succeeded royally at messing up my real forum life. Go ahead and smile or whatever it is inhuman jackasses like you do. It won't change the fact that I now know exactly where the new forum is and I don't really care if anyone else doubts it. It matters not one bit when nothing changes for the reality of me: one Canadian guy living in Canada accessing the forum.
That's the last thing I have to say the new GA Forum.
-----
But this.
This is for you.
I know you're reading this. I also know you can understand this. I still don't know how you hid all this information, but I'll find out. I admit I don't know how someone could be so damn screwy in the head to go through all the effort you've gone through, especially since you had to know I'd stumble over the new GAF eventually.
But that doesn't change the fact that on top of that, I know who you are now. Yeah, go ahead and shake your head like I'm bluffing. You know in the depths of your nasty, mean little heart that I'm telling the truth.
You'll find out soon enough what the consequences are for hiding the URL from me as you've done to me over the past month or so.
There's going to be no more fear, and no more harassment or slumming in crappy sports-only forums, at least not on my side. I'm going to post normally again no matter what you do.
I'd just like to let you know that's nothing changed in the last three weeks. Oh yes. I've grown up and watched some playoff hockey and came back here and all that, but I'm still just as violent and cruel as you remember. If anything, I've only gotten stronger, and I've bookmarked the new OT. .
If you do one more thing to me...know this: no one will be able to hear you scream. And I won't make it quick.
Hooray the forum's back! Now where's my :lol?![]()
Me too. I remember being nervous as fuck typing it. It was in a welcome juniors thread. I spent like 10 mins to type/proof/check/retype a greeting. -.-
Stuff I wonder about Scribblenauts:
How does the game deal with homonyms? For example, if you enter bow, will you get something for shooting arrows, or a knot tied in a ribbon, or something else?
How does it deal with vague terms? What happens if you ask it to spawn thing, stuff, object, or entity?
How does it deal with gender? Was the policeman in the trailer spawned by writing policeman, police officer, or cop? Is there a policewoman? How will feminists react if all the gender neutral terms like police officer produce males?
Regarding the screenshot with the vampire and Maxwell thinking of a cross: Is Christianity the only religion that can deal with vampires? What would holy objects of other religions do?
How does the game deal with self reference? If you write Starite, will you have to collect the new Starites you just spawned? Will writing Maxwell clone your character? If you write Scribblenauts, do you get to play a subgame of the game within the game?
you guys do bitch about everything, it's going to be an awesome game![]()

After two years of lurking around these forums I've finally decided to join Neogaf and I always loved this thread on this site. I've been collecting single issues for the past two years and am currently reading All New X-men, Uncanny Avengers, New Avengers, Batman and Indestructible Hulk. P.S. There a great Daredevil sale on Comixology that includes Waid's first 11 issues.
An idea that may prove too implausible for some, but fun to think about nonetheless:

I was pretty late to the whole gaming business, seeing as I only started back when the N64 launched
But since then I've jumped on the gen-bandwagon following up the old ultra with the X-box and GC, and now lately the 360 and Wii.
Out of all those generations, I would probably call the latest one the best. All those lan-nights playing some Halo 2 and 3 were some of the most fun I've had so far when it comes to gaming (and I'm not even a massive Halo fan!), and I've enjoyed a ton of fun and interesting games on the Wii.
If you count in the DS as part of the current-gen then this gen is definetly not a let down (GBA and GBC were still awesome, the former is almost as good as the DS).
This generation of gaming of console is sorely lacking good media center options. The built-in functionality of the 360 and PS3 are both infuriatingly hamstrung. Bring on 1080p playback in XBMC and Boxee!
New to the forums, and I definitely agree that FFXII was one of the best RPGs of the PS2. A huge improvement to the linear snorefest that was FFX. As someone else said the combat alone made me fall in love with FFXII, no longer was I running around every 10 steps and triggering a random battle, but I could run up to the enemy myself and begin fighting. It was a needed change. It made grinding....fun, I've played every Final Fantasy minus Mystic Quest, and the combat in FFXII was by far my favorite. I was so happy not seeing my characters run back to their spot after hitting someone. (I mean seriously, look how dumb that looks.)
As for character skills, the characters are how you make them. Sure they can all have the same skills, but they're definitely not all at the same proficiency. If you have all your characters built the same, it's YOUR fault not the game. Learn to be creative, why have 3 pure damage dealing characters? That's boring, that and you'll probably end up dying in 3 hits from bosses and other enemies. I personally have 1 pure DPS, a tank, and a magicks user who stands away.
Either way, I still found this to be a breath of fresh air from the over cliche.
Main character - Sword user
Main female - healer / summoner
follow #1 - Blue Magic
Follower #2 - Black Magics
That is such a dumb setup, props to Square for getting rid of something so archaic.
This game probably would have been even more amazing if Matsuno stayed aboard the entire time =(
GAH! This reminds me of how much fun I used to have playing with fellow GAFers. After UC2 MP took a turn for the worst, it hasn't been the same. :[Somnium986 said:![]()
I'll try to play later tonight. Trying to take care of my backlog a little first :/
Was his username "Freep" back then or did you mispell it? hahaI like Kingdom Hearts...lame
Looks like you never upgraded to the new dimensions.
.Its weird, despite the fact that he gave a black eyed peas record higher than almost all of Radiohead's stuff, I still consider his opinions reliable , but I don't know why.
If it wasn't for him, I never would have heard of Wussy ,and they ended up being a favorite of mine.
For my first post ever on GAF, I have but one thing to say:
FIX THIS SHIT GUERRILLA!
Oh man, that video. Buying a Japanese 3DS seems less and less like a bad idea.
Also, first post ever, yay.
I saw a shark wearing a mask coming out of an explosion holding a samurai sword.
Edit: This is my first post of GAF. After years of lurking, this is where I decided to make my mark. Hmm.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=26158275&postcount=3422
Hahaha, awesome. Unfortunately, they never did fix the shit.
It was strange to see that I had a presence on GAF before becoming an actual member -- what, with all the LBP Contra stuff; many mentions of me in the U2 beta/KZ2 threads; and being in various GAF-only MP Clans: MGO/U2/KZ2 even though I wasn't apart of GAF.
I certainly felt obliged to buy Gunman Clive, beril seemed like a really nice guy, and for £2, why the hell not. Also it's always nice to support small devs coming to the eShop. Luckily the game was really fun too.
Or regular zombies.
They stopped me from rescuing bill when he was tragically pounced by a hunter.
Holy smokes, batman, I'm getting 2MB/s.
haha wow. :lol
Also, first post with newly approved account. Hello GAF
blowjob .gif imminent.
Well, that's not very interesting.Pretty sure they've confirmed that Martyrdom is still in.
Ryaaaaaaaan!
Seemed like it took a decade for you to get approved. :lol

Unless there's something in the novels that makes you think that (haven't read them), I don't think that's at all accurate. We've no reason to believe that they themselves don't know, and they would certainly have been around long enough ago to make themsince the derelict Reaper in ME2 was dated at 37 million years old, so that's the minimum age the Reapers could be.
Eh, until I get some kind of confirmation explicitly denying this as a possibility, I'm going to assume thatthe council does know about the Reapers and knows they are still coming, but doesn't publicly acknowledge it and wouldn't let Shepard into the loop because s/he's Cerberus during ME2 and s/he's a bit of a blabbermouth about everything.
BELIEVE.
I bought one used for $300 with Madden (which was the main reason I bought it). I had to experience those next gen graphics with NO NFL license. :lol
worst Madden ever.
Also Road Rash was great and Blade Force, a jet pack flying shooter. I had it about 6mos.
BTW first GAF post.... hey![]()
