Getting motion sickness from the game.
Changing the vehicle view in the settings to high helped a bit, but not enough.

Anyone else experienced a glitch during the construction mission where after landing none of your weapons can be used and the event for leaving the area never triggers?

Use the other one. Bawsaq is affected by online players, but the other is ingame actions. I bough 101 stocks and sold them for like 35,000 there, lol.

I can't remember even being given the option to take them to the cult. I just took 'em to the hotel.

Angone has confirmation about the supposed alien base and sea monsters?
I've seen complaints about too much swearing, which is weird to me. It's like people have never seen Reservoir Dogs or Casino or Goodfellas or any other decent crime film.
Casino probably isn't a tier 1 crime film :lol just came to my mind.
I'm of the opinion that all previous Rockstar releases were not good video games... and GTA V is one of the best things I've played all gen.
Love the gameplay, Love the characters, Love the world, even some of the crap that Dan Houser passes off as satire is quite good this time.

When doing stunt jumps, I'm supposed to be able to use the left stick to balance myself out, right? It seems like it's not doing anything.
Yay! (assuming you mean yup it's possible to take someone else) I'm currently playing as Franklin. I have a runaway bride in my car and I'd love the dark poetry of driving her to the cult but I don't think it's giving me the option... do you have to play as Trevor to take people there?
I am pretty sure it's trevor only, it just seems like a random event that will pop up occasionally.

Why do I get two wanted stars when stealing a car with Trevor? With the others I just get one.

Something is wrong with my game or something. I can't continue with the story because I have no missions available. IIRC, the last mission I completed was the assassination of the jurors for Lester, turned the PS3 off, and went to sleep.

Try to make secondary missions, I've been in the same situation as you, just give it time.

Pull up the character select wheel (dpad down) and see if any if the characters have numbers showing. That's their available missions.

Rarely been able to get social club to upload but have nabbed a few pics.
Not sure if this has been answered already - but the garages are free if you have your PSN id linked to your R* social club account

Do more meaningful side missions open up later on? I've only done around 7 story missions, but so far the side quests/strangers and freaks feel fairly ....short and one time deals.

Played some more with all aiming assists off as per GAF's recommendation. It's a hell of a lot better, but I'm still not the biggest fan. Everything is just stupidly accurate and lacks feedback (so far, anyway). I feel like shooting boils down to 'place your pixel-sized dot reticule over the bad guy and pull until you see a red X', rather than skill-based aiming, leading, accounting for recoil, etc.
I know, I know. GTA ain't a AAA shooter and it probably isn't trying to be, but I think it's fair to say that shooting is the bread and driving is the butter, so I guess I expected a little bit more in terms of reworking the fundamentals.
The bizarre-and-largely-mediocre-movement-controls-that-have-plagued-every-R*-game-ever-to-the-point-where-I-actually-think-they-might-be-cursed-or-have-a-pact-with-Satan don't help things either. They encourage you to stay pinned behind one piece of cover and approach every firefight like a target range, which isn't terribly exciting.
Everything else is pretty great, though. The writing and sheer breadth of content is admirable. And the game can look superb.

I dislike that some of GTAV's missions are tied to using the camera phone which has to first access Rockstar Social Club to be usable, and Social Club is down. I failed the mission because the camera just kept loading and erroring.
I've been doing some Rampage and paparazzi missions but still no luck.
Each character have several missions available but I'm unable to see them on the map.
