SPOILER THREAD BELOW!

So yeah, I think we need one of these...
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
So I was not expecting the movie to basically be a message to manchildren. Took me by surprise and I thought it was very well done. Sure parents can see a bit of themselves in the third act.
I didn't expect it to get so dark. Cuckoo world getting destroyed was pretty poignant, and Allison Brie as Unikitty did an amazing job there.
On a completely different note, I still have Everything Is Awesome stuck in my head.
Can anyone list all the cool cameos?

Creature from the Black Lagoon was there I believe as one of the master builders, it was real wtf moment.Batman
Shaq
Gandalf
Dumbledore
Han Solo
Chewbacca
C-3PO
Lando Calrisian
Michelangelo (artist)
Michelangelo (Turtle)
Milhouse
Her reaction in the sub was kind of heat breaking. Love the different ways they put her body together
Nanana ORPHAN nanananana NO PARENTS *heavy bass*"I call these the dogs. Listen to them BARK!"
All those cameo's jesus.
That ending. *looks at lego space shuttle model that's been on display for over a year*
Star Wars is Disney I supposeIf the cameo's had one flaw it's that they didn't get Disney to play ball. Even just including Marvel and other Disney characters in the Master Builder meeting would have been nice to see.

The look on the lego man's face as he built the croissant wheel, immediately followed up by the whole "SPACESHIP" thing. I was in tears.
I forgot about that part :lol I think this movie deserves a second viewing to catch all the quick-cut references.

Loved a lot of the jokes everyone else has been bringing up, and also got a good chuckle out of "He is the hero you deserve" from Batman.
the artifacts were largely things confiscated from the kid because they damage plastics.
The fact that the whole universe was just a kid playing with his dad's lego worlds was well telegraphed. All the animals just used human voices to say 'meow' or 'oink' out loud, Metalbeard's ship was powered by a kid putting his lips together and saying 'BRLPLBRLPLBRLPL,' the Micromanagers were all the kid imitating Will Ferrel's voice in baby talk, the artifacts were largely things confiscated from the kid because they damage plastics.
I enjoyed the fact that Liam Neeson voiced Good Cop, Bad Cop and his mom and dad.

If you want to hear the entire Batman song, DC has it up on their site
OMG WAT. That is so awesome!I said this in the Rotten Tomatoes thread, but I absolutely loved the Clone High reference with Will Forte as the voice of Abe Lincoln. <3
I don't like the real world segment. It dragged on for too long.
I still like Wreck it Ralph better.
Also Elizabeth Bank, her voice job is weak. Batman OTOH is awesome! Also Morgan Freeman was really funny, I didn't know he had this in him.
This movie has crzay amount of out of focus effect. Like every "lens" they use has a 1cm thin depth of field.
I would agree Banks was the weakest voice in the cast. She just didn't seem to get into it like the others.
Morgan Freeman was brilliant as always, especially with his more humors lines.
Chris Pratt and Charlie Day both did great at their happy go lucky characters, Pratt even nailing the somber moments.
Will Arnett was a great choice for Batman, I don't think it would have been as funny had they tried to get Conroy.
Alison Brie was probably the highlight of the voice cast as Princess Unikitty. Nailing both the wacky parts and going full on feels with the destruction of her home.
Even the rest of the supporting cast with Metalbeard, Superman, Green Lantern and the Star Wars folks all did great (who wasn't happy to hear Billy Dee Williams out of nowhere).
