I am cautiously optimistic. This looks like a modern day Uncharted with Splinter Cell or Hitman elements!

This could be damn good. I figured it launched early. Games going to RUSH to get out ahead of GTA VI in late May.

Big games are going to launch early or launch later in the Fall.

Edit: I also suspect this is a shorter game with replayable story. Probably 10-15 hour story/game. Which sounds perfect to me! Shorter is better.

I was wondering about this too. Maybe they're still debating whether to put it on a game key card or charge more for the physical Switch 2 version.

Edit: Or maybe there will only be the one physical edition, but it'll be on the cartridge. That would explain why the cheaper standard edition is AWOL.

It doesn't seem much more advanced than Hitman 3, and it's already on Switch 2.

I think this is the physical edition so it's safe to rule the regular one might be too.

Hitman is steady 30 on Switch 2 (or hovering 40-45 fps unlocked). I don't see why it couldn't be similar (possibly with some more obvious downgrades as there's no last generation base to work off this time, even if the core tech is still derived from that). Of course it could also be a shit port but

Maybe if they've toned down the AI and simulation stuff to go for this more linear scripted cinematic action gameplay style (even if there are still some sandbox/stealth etc. elements here and there) that means it can run similarly enough, it seems like those elements would hit a weaker CPU more.

Nintendo and Amazon would not have greenlit this if they weren't assured it could run at least at locked 30 fps.

Make no mistake. I believe Nintendo "assisted" with getting this game on NS2. Whatever that means. Paying for port or assisting with marketing or whatever.

This will run well enough. Especially if GTAVI is not coming. Nintendo will want everything else on there. RE9, COD, etc.
