The amount of 90s nostalgia here at NeoGaf is astounding sometimes. I am 27, so I fit right into the crowd that should be nostalgic for the 90s (and I am!), but sometimes it gets to be a bit much. We have threads like these so frequently.

I guess I'm being a party pooper, so I'll contribute.

So much nostalgia for this era, though I do understand the people who hated it too I think the noughties were easily a better decade for movies, for instance.

I still regularly play games from this era, and still go back to things like old Simpsons. Also, Recess was such a great show for kids, a lot of stories the audience could relate to with really solid writing and humour.

Oh my god Crazy Bones. Those and Pokemon Cards were like currency on the playground in the late 90s/early 2000s.

It's not that its not around. The original Red/Blue along with the daily anime eps on PIX/CW/WB were amazing. I was in middle school at the time and nearly everyone had that brick of a GameBoy with a copy of Pokemon trading them in the cafeteria. Original 151 Pokemon were the best Pokemon. It was at its absolute peak during the 90s.

I remember they became such a problem in our school that Pokemon cards were "banned". You would get detention for being caught with them. Kids were having secret trades going on like drug deals. lol

Still my favorite album by them. Make Yourself was alright, and I liked Morning View quite a bit. After that, each album has had less songs I actually like. I really miss the sound they had on that album and their previous stuff.
