I totally forgot about the Rocket Knight games. Those two titles were extremely fun and very unique. I would really love to see Konami tackle a new installment.

Great Wasabi Man, you seem to have read my mind. I'm not a big fan of most fighters, although Darkstalkers and Rival Schools are fine games worthy of new sequels, All the other games are glorious and have been followed up by games that just don't measure up, even if some of the sequels are still good games themselves.

I would expect Matsuno to make a new Final Fantasy Tactics for a console system after FF12, but I worry about the new Seiken Densetsu, because none of the games in the series (including 3) have ever satisfied me after I played Secret of Mana.

I never cared much for Landstalker, but a true Sequel to Alundra (starring Alundra, in 2D, and with a dark, intelligent plot) would be fantastic.

The Adventures Lolo, Battle of Olympus and The Guardian Legend are, as always, in need of sequels, or even GBA ports.

Most of all I want a new Bushido Blade (not Kengo) with more interactive environments and no life meter.

Great game, good to see some rolling thunder loving.
I still play it once a week and it still looks great: it's stylish in a way, it's probably the first game to look like an anime, and since the designers didn't go for the 'spectacular' look it definately aged well, unlike its sequel, which imho totally misunderstood what made the first game so appealing.

Computer Versions (C64, Spectrum, Amiga, Atari St..) were converted by Tiertex, and they all pretty much sucked as a consequence.
Nes version was pretty good, iirc.

As i said, I never liked the sequel: they tried to improve on the essential (but clean and stylish) look of the original, but by doing this they just made the technical shortcomings stand out even more: as a result, Rolling Thunder 2 looks much worse/dated than its prequel. Simply put, Rolling Thunder is a game with no aesthetic flaws, Rolling Thunder 2, while more technically advanced, has many.
I guess the Genesis conversion is alright.

Then there's Rolling Thunder 3, Genesis exclusive this time.
And it should be very good, but i only played for a few minutes at a friends'...
Uhm. Now that i think of it, I guess it's time to search for the rom.

Except from rolling thunder 3, which i can't say i played (but i will within minutes : ) ), my favourite is the arcade Rolling Thunder (there's 2 versions: old and new. i prefer the music in the "new" version)
