I'm talking specifically about Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2.

I haven't finished downloading the others but dark forces 1 works just fine.

Won't even boot. Hard to tell what's wrong with it when it just does that.

I just tried downloading and running it under Windows 7 Home Premium. Without any changes it launched and played the intro cutscenes (which are...hilarious, I guess? :lol :lol I don't know that I've ever played a game with semi-live-action scenes like these). Once the game cut in it goes to fullscreen and things are distorted, though. I guess I need to hunt for a way to make it windowed. Screenshot example:

At any rate, it doesn't crash on startup for me, so I'm not sure what's happening on your system.

I had Bloodlines a long time ago and sold it on ebay. Added to my wishlist for you guys.

Does the game run a lot better on new PCs? I didn't have issues with the framerate, but as the world began getting populated with more of my actions, loads went from .01 seconds (where you couldn't even read the tip screens) to FOREVER. Made the game a total chore when you knew entering a house was going to give you a minute load to get in and out (and you weren't sure you needed to ask somebody anything).

C'mon NBA 2K11! That's the last thing I'm waiting for. I've spent around $90 for 9 games, so not bad at all. It seems like a lot, but then I think if I had just bought 2 of these games at release for my 360 or PS3, I'd be over $30 over this amount. At least that's my rationaliztion. :lol

If there isn't a TR collection, I still highly recommend picking up Anniversary at the very least. It's a steal at 5$ and the best of the batch on Steam.

Yeah, I got that one but after playing some of it I really want to play Legend and Underworld too.

Jedi Academy was built with mouse and keyboard in mind and it holds up great. You can make the game properly widescreen and throw lots of AA at it and play it at 60 fps and it can look quite decent at times. The game isn't as polished as JK2 and the story is weaker, but the gameplay is still fucking boss and the level variety is truly something.
