You know which movie is extremely inaccurate and it simply does not matter one fucking bit?
Gladiator.
It's based on a true story, actually.
The life and times of the Black Mamba

Holy crap, that's a fight for the GAF-ages.i pay good money to witness Charsace and iamshadowdork go at it in real life.
2 of the most angry nba gaffers going toe to toe.
The fact is a black man in the air force should get a concussion from all the facepalm moments in Red Tails.
I'm about to have a concussion.
Wow.
But facts alone don't make a move good tho
Old people with likely no taste
who cares
I bet he says nothing"aviation historian Budd Davidson, in agreement with fellow historian Barrett Tillman, although cognizant of the "hollywood treatment", had a caution to aviation enthusiasts looking for a faithful reenactment of the tuskege legend"...buy some popcorn, lean back and enjoy, this is hollywood telling a story, not making a documentary."
"Three claims made in the film were most contentious: the number of losses suffered by bomber crews under escort, the encounters with Luftwaffe jet fighters and the overall record established by the tuskegee airmen"
ha.

We wish.Im done.
The message is what makes it good
LOLSo you're saying we should believe some random historian over some of the actual pilots?
Soooo...what are everyone's feelings on Pearl Harbor starring Ben Affleck?
Ahhh, now it's all making sense. No dude, the amount of good is what makes it good, not the message.
Some great movies have a good message, but that's hardly important in determining a great movie.
Brilliant.
Soooo...what are everyone's feelings on Pearl Harbor starring Ben Affleck?
LOL
One of a fucking kind.
Holy shit I just saw your tag...whatttttttttt the
Dude GTFO with whatever you're Ebert and Robert definition of a good movie is. I don't give one fuck.
You know what movie is rad? Zodiac.
Believe what you want. I still get to laugh at you for it as well as be dismayed by the proud ignorance of a confused black man in the air force.because I can logically decide who to believe?
So you're saying we should believe some random historian over some of the actual pilots?
And the "contenious claims" are some of the most irrelevant shit I've heard.
Offseason is gonna be so bad if this is just a taste.
Fincher is awesome.
I don't like Alien 3, although I understand it was a production nightmare.
You guys are hilarious. In the now I see why NBA GAF was shut down way hilarious.
I watched Horrible Bosses last night
Disappointing that Jennifer Aniston didn't show more skin but it was a realistic take on what murdering your boss would be like so it was a good movie
Believe what you want. I still get to laugh at you for it as well as be dismayed by the proud ignorance of a confused black man in the air force.
So here goes. "LOL" "smh"
It was his first movie. We'll forgive him.
Pretty funny actually. I liked it a lot.
Those Aniston scenes were awkward as hell in the theatre tho. Enjoyably awkard, but definitely awkward.

can you not distinguish recognition on a personal level from documented historical facts?WTF are you even talking about?
Poster 1: Red Tails is a accurate movie with a good story
Poster 2: Nuhhh Unnhhh
Poster 1: <Posts excerpt from actual pilot saying it portrayed what they did>
Poster 2: LOL smh
Who am I?
The first line from Red Tails wikipedia entry under 'Historical accuracy':
"Red Tails portrays laregly ficitional events based on the exploits of the Tuskegee airmen, although many viewers were left with the impression that the film was entirely historically accurate."
How could historians get away with lying about The airmen not losing a single bomber, dudes are dead. At least25 according to the AF itself. The AF also have confirmed that The Luftwaffe interception did not result in the first victory over the jet fighters, some other unit has that credit.
can you not distinguish recognition on a personal level from documented historical facts?
Historians: "Inaccurate popcorn flick"
Airforce: "Inaccurate"
Lark: "It's real to me dammit!"
