During his first season with the Bulls, Boozer was going through a divorce, and he still convinced his wife to come back to him. Pau has disappeared in the playoffs the last two years, as well.
It's not like Boozer is having a great year, but he's clearly surpassed Pau at this point. Pau gets paid much more than Boozer, and he's not worth it.
EDIT: Plus, Boozer carries the hatred of the entire Bulls organization and fanbase because he's not "the guy they wanted", and he still shows up to every game yelling his ass off. Boozer wouldn't have bitched out if Kobe said something to him.
