Sorry, I wanted to point out Timmy's 2005 finals campaign. It wasn't about whether or not Kobe played well in 04, he didn't...it was about how poorly Duncan actually played.
That 2005 Finals MVP was just given to him because there was no one else, not because he actually played well.

What he did to Rondo is pretty much what Kawai is doing to Lebron. Sag off him, go under the screens. And when he does drive, move your feet and try to stay with him. In fast breaks, spring as hard as you can to get in front of him.
There are some players you don't press up on because you're not scared of their jump shot. Rondo is one of them, and apparently so is Lebron.
This isn't the only way to play great perimeter defense
