2014 NCAA Tournament March Madness |OT|

I have Wichita State losing to UK. In fact, no team in that region scares me as much as UK, to be honest.

They've been playing good ball of late, and if they can match overwhelming talent with cohesion and effort, that's a tough team to beat. They specifically give Duke huge match-up problems on the inside.

Harvard over Cincy, Nebraska over Baylor I feel fairly confident about.

my big ones are WMU over Syracuse, NDSU over Oklahoma, S.F. Austin over VCU, Iowa/Tennessee over UMass.

I'm not quite sure why I chose Cuse getting upset, but I have a feeling.

They certainly have a track record for falling short in March. And they haven't had a really good game since they played Duke the first time, over a month and a half ago.

UK is the most underseeded team in the tournament by far. Tough decision but I ended up going with them loosing to Lville.

Haven't been following much of the season but man, what a fun time of year. Have my FF as Michigan State, Louisville, Florida and Arizona but I'm really shaky on it. Especially about Arizona -- have a bit of family bias here. Ashley being out has hurt them but I still think they're a strong team...hmm.

Roll tomorrow!

Exactly how far do you have UK going? Seems all of a sudden you're hot on your guys.

I'm completely confused about how the tourney will go and haven't finished my bracket yet. I'm mostly bullish on our offense post-"tweak", but we do such a poor job of forcing turnovers that when our offense isn't firing on all cylinders it's easy to get behind or let teams get back in to a game.

Ask yourself which team Louisville has beat, all season, that is as good as UK. Keeping in mind they lost to UK.

Cincy.....possibly.

I guess I'm hedging my bets with Lville over UK as the cardinals have an easier route to the Sweet 16. UK still has to go through Witchita State (can someone explain to me how they got a #1 seed).

Shit anythings possible. Last two years my brackets held up well as I picked UK, Lville respectively to win in 2012 and 2013. This year I feel like a good argument could be made that 4 or 5 teams could win it all.

No clue. I know they CAN compete with anyone, but no idea who will show up. I think there is an equal chance of them losing in the first round as there is going to the Elite 8. Anything beyond the Elite 8 would be FAR more consistency than this team has ever shown they are capable of.

Meanwhile, Louisville has shown me they are incapable of beating any team that's better than Uconn. Why would I suddenly expect that to change?

The issue I have isn't that you see Louisville progressing, it's that you have them progressing against Kentucky. If Kentucky faces Louisville I don't give Louisville much chance of winning that game, but I also don't think there is a great chance of Kentucky getting to that game to begin with. If Louisville faces Wichita State (which I think is the most likely situation) then I have no clue. I don't know Wichita State's ceiling. They haven't lost to anyone but they also haven't played much of anyone. So they could be the best team in the world but I just don't know.

Agreed. Although NC State over St. Louis is up there as well.

Don't be shocked if NCSU lays an egg. They have a tendency to do that, esp if Warren gets in foul trouble, which he does at times.

If SLU has an athletic PG, Lewis will get steamrolled, and Cat Barber may not have enough energy to play since he's pretty damn sick.

SLU's PG looks like a linebacker and is pretty fast. He's not much of a shooter though, no one on their team really is, so we can bring a lot of help defense to stop his drives. Honestly, on paper, they don't look very good. Then again neither do we so who knows, they might be secretly awesome. My guess is that K was right and the A-10 is garbage.

Yeah, my picks look amazing.

After all of that research and looking over stats...

So in my Warren Buffett bracket I did what I've always wanted to do: just go with my feeling, pick some crazy upsets because you know that some are going to happen, and it turned out to be a lot more fun than actually trying to fill out a bracket in a pool. I mean, both are fun, it's not exactly work to fill out a bracket, but it was a good chance to go crazy. NC State to the sweet 16 anyone? :p

I know nothing about college basketball but at work I decided to fill out a bracket.

Kansas over Duke in the finals. Is that even somewhat realistic?

The NCAA would love that final. The final showdown between Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker in what's sure to be the last college game for both. One walks away with the Carmelo Anthony storybook ending, the other leaves college with the bitter taste of defeat.

Was just looking at my bracket and realized how boring it was...got no sleepers, very few early round seed upsets...let the second guessing commence!

You could always pick Virginia and/or Wichita State as your plucky underdogs™ for the later rounds! :p

Glad I didn't buy my tickets for the games in Raleigh. Foul differential in this game was nuts. Can't make any excuses though. We imploded.

Gotta look over my bracket one last time. Still don't know who I should pick in any region. There's usually double digit match up in the second round(Sat-Sun) and I have one...just not sure if I picked the right teams.

lol Iowa melted down

Story of the season. Never seen anything like it. One day we're on the verge of being rated top 10, we're blowing out Michigan, then all of a sudden, we're absolutely woeful. Game after game, we find a way to lose against the bottom of the barrel. How does that happen.

Big 12 has the most tourney teams?
huh

although I see there's a 4-way tie (!) for 2nd with 6 teams between the Pac-12, Big 10, ACC, and A10 (what)
