#Eagles worked out QB Brad Sorensen along with WRs Aaron Dobson, DeAndrew White, Da'Ron Brown and Jordan Leslie yesterday.

Man that is a sad list of players.

If QBR wasn't a fucken joke already....

So stupid. Gabbert was awful last night. Can't even throw a bubble screen

I feel like I have a vicious hangover from that Rams game last night. I've never seen such shitty, ineffective offense before. Can someone explain why Fisher didn't put Mannion in? Not that it would have saved them, but at some point don't you have to at least try something different?

He did make some nice throws. There was one that he threaded between 2 guys to the TE for example. Hopefully as time goes on he will get more comfortable in the offense and play better. That Ol looks good and they will definitely run the ball on teams, just need to get decent play from Blame and they will surprise some teams.

He doesn't like to admit when he's wrong. He said something in his press conference like "we are better than last year it just didn't show on the field"

I wonder how they judge the run grade. His is head and shoulders above every other QB.

QBR is all about EPA. And he ran for lots of first downs. QBR is still the best stat as far as QB play goes, but that really just shows that football stats will always be limited

I didn't know this, but the referee is the only official tasked with calling roughing the passer penalties.

The referee lines up on the right-hand side of a play, usually about 12–15 yards deep, behind the quarterback. Current Fox rules analyst and former NFL vice president of officiating Mike Pereira said that placement is intended to, among other things, position the referee to correctly analyze whether a quarterback’s arm is going forward on a borderline pass/fumble play. The crew’s umpire is on the left side of the play, closer to the line of scrimmage, but while his physical location might make him well-suited to call hits on the QB, he’s primarily tasked with focusing on penalties in the blocking action of the interior line, making a quarterback hit hard to track.

I just saw the TNF uniforms.... what in the actual fuck.

No work today decided to turn on ESPN and see what this new First Take is all about.... first thing I here is Stephen A call Ezekiel Elliott... mother fucking Trent Richardson.

After certain aspects of the Packers/Jaguars game, I'm actually a bit nervous going into the Vikings game. Secondary looked like trash and McCarthy tried his damn hardest to lose to the Jags.

So apparently nobody sent the memos to last night's teams that Week 1 games must be decided by 1 point. Everybody else did their best to achieve that.

Unless they were starting early on Week 2: Every Game is a Blowout.

Does this mean we could get a 1st for him?

The Saints match-up will be a good test for the reloaded Giants defense. Several coordinators and different personnel groupings have worn the Giants logo but one thing is a constant - Drew Brees has had some career games against us.

The previous four times these two teams have played, the winner has put up 48 points or more. Last year’s losing team, of course, scored 49, and that was the Giants, so expect the defense to seek redemption.

In the Spotlight
DREW BREES: The Saints' quarterback tied an NFL record with seven touchdown passes last season, completing 40-of-50 passes for 505 yards with an interception in beating the Giants, 52-49. That game was indoors in New Orleans and Brees has a 5-1 career record against the Giants (4-1 with Saints, 1-0 with Chargers).

In his six career starts against the Giants, Brees has gone 145-of-215 passing (67.4 percent) for 1,920 yards, 19 touchdowns and three interceptions.

At least its not in New Orleans. I'd pen that in as a loss right off the bat if it were. That building is a nightmare house for the Giants.:/
