If the 49ers can somehow upset the Panthers I'll be so excited, but I don't expect it. Long week of rest for them, short week for the 49ers, and they are much better then the Rams.

If the Niners can keep it competitive though that will give me a lot of hope for the season's prospects

Remember when Dak was gonna be All-Pro as a rookie? Good times.

He is, and always has been, our third string QB.

That opening game, combined with a boring Hard Knocks series, must have seriously hurt the Rams' chances of attracting new fans in LA.

The Saints match-up will be a good test for the reloaded Giants defense. Several coordinators and different personnel groupings have worn the Giants logo but one thing is a constant - Drew Brees has had some career games against us.

At least its not in New Orleans. I'd pen that in as a loss right off the bat if it were. That building is a nightmare house for the Giants.:/

Being home is a start. Brees gonna Brees but also kind of banking the Saints defense being their usual awful selves even with Rob Ryan gone.

I don't understand why LA wanted the Rams. They could have waited a year or two and had the Raiders or Charger.

The young crowd won't care until they make the playoffs, between the Chargers (and Raiders), USC, UCLA, Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Dodgers and Angels there are enough teams to root for besides the Rams in So Cal. (plus all the million other things you can do on a Sunday) They have their old fan base but don't expect a lot of young faces at Rams games anytime soon.

Harbs is going to win multiple championships and be treated as a god in Michigan, as well as being able to hire and work with his son.

It'd be a miracle if he left.

If the Rams fail in LA can we please finally give up on the NFL in LA?

It had to be due to the Rams being there previously.

It was mostly because the owner was going to build his giant stadium in LA anyways and has enough money to come to LA and fail for a few years where the Chargers and Raiders had neither.

Edit: And Jerry doing his thing

Yup, I don't see Harbs coming back to the NFL.

He was 7 yards away from a SB victory and called 3 straight passes. So fucking stupid.

I wish he was still here.

I think Harbs will be back in the NFL. Dude's eventually going to get thirsty for that Super Bowl experience again. I think he'll bolt Michigan the moment a decent franchise opens the door for him.

Barack Obama says he came to Philadelphia to scout Carson Wentz. Joe Biden told him to “get on the Wentz Wagon.” pic.twitter.com/c5YCpy9qVr

This is ridiculous. Eagles Gaf is outta control! It's like everyone is kas!

We seriously need to have a come to earth game. Wentz played well but it was one game and eagles sites everywhere are going nuts. If not the Bears then the Steelers should do that.

Plus the Browns had the worst defense (at least before the Rams game) this weekend....y'all need to calm down.

That too, but didn't wanna beat up on the Browns too much

In reality I don't think the media has been that insane over it yet. If he plays equally well against the Bears though? Shit will be through the roof. Everyone already knows the Eagles will lose to the Steelers, so that won't dampen shit if Wentz is good against the Bears.

i just realized the niners have shut the rams out for 90+ straight minutes of football. they were out last game of last year, which we shut them out the entire 2nd half and overtime and then yesterdays game. Sad!

Praying for some

"These young Bucs are here to stay."

Along with

"What's wrong with the 'super bowl contender' Arizona Cardinals??"

Headlines.

Seems like a reasonable narrative, right?

The white color rush jerseys are L A M E, talk about not going the full distance when trying to commit to something crazy.

Also bummed to see the Titans and Jags playing in the same jerseys as last year, was hoping to see something new and fresh when I'm at the game next month :(

One of the reasons Jeff Fisher left TEN was that Bud Adams had an anti-nepotism rule, and wouldn't let him hire his son. With the Rams, he, Dave McGinnis, and Gregg Williams have all had their sons employed by the team

The Vikes are similar. Both Zimmer and Norv have their sons on the staff
