i find it funny that the rams had a great defense, but then after we beat them its like they are a bottom feeder defense.

the truth is the rams probably have one of the best, if not the best, defensive line in football. they had no sacks against us and, aside from the 3rd quarter, we moved the ball pretty well. it doesn't help they were on the field so much but it is what it is

if you want to retroactively turn the rams defense into complete shit you can do that, but the reality is they are a good defense and they more or less got man handled the entire game

Honestly I don't even know if I want to watch any more games this season. I was really hoping against hope that Robert would return to his rookie year form (or some slightly reduced version of it). The notion of him getting clipped in his very first game never even crossed my mind. At worst I just knew we'd at least be better than we were last year (which is a fairly low bar to clear). Now a 3/13 season (the 2015 record) has to be considered the optimist's view. Is it even reasonable to believe there are 3 wins on their schedule?

I don't see a single win here. None of those teams are as bad as we are with McCown under center. Fuck man.

I'm not sure if this was directed at me, but I wasn't saying that at all. I was saying Chips scheme is built around that, and right now we don't have the type of players he had on the Eagles when he first got there.

It was pretty obvious from the get go that our game plan was to neutralize their pass rush with quick, short throws outside the numbers, and it worked all game long. They never adjusted. I noticed a lot of zone blocking and pulling on runs, too. It's honestly the same offense we've seen over the past 3 years with Chip. I said guard play is important and our guards dominated the LOS springing runs for Hyde.

I felt depressed last night as well friend. Defense didn't show up. Offense was the worst I've seen since I've watched a football game, and this is from someone who watched the 1987 Bucaneers. But the secret is to fill your life with other things. I watch wrasslin, coach AYSO soccer, read some comics, volunteer at church, watch Clone Wars on Netflix, and play Overwatch. The week is so busy that by the time I'm salty from a pathetic Rams loss and our horrible coaching, next thing you know it's Monday and I can then switch to complaining about wrasslin.
