I've got 20 psn bucks burning a hole in my e-pocket. Is deus ex dlc going to go on sale in the summer? I can't wait much longer, especially considering I'm going to have a bit if free time in a weeks time here. Just gonna occupy my time for now...

Pretty much started this week so I only got the first one :D

So every HVT bar from the first. Not sure how it works precisely but sharing the final 1/2 or so (the ones which require the most starts) would probably help me out tremendously.

I'm new to the thread and I definitely don't have nearly as many games at 100% as most of you guys but I just broke 200k gamerscore a couple of days ago. I generally only go for the completion on games that I really love and I've spent way too much time the last 9 months or so pecking away at Seriously 3.0 on Gears 3.
 
Really enjoying knights contract. Been looking for a hack and slash game for a while. one I haven't played before anyway. Suprisingly decent. Graphics are meh. Voice acting is passable. But story and set pieces are quite enjoyable. Only just finished chapter 5 but having a blast. Is qte central though if your after s ranks.
 
All these free games and I have no will to play them :( why do I get like this when I have so many games to play?

My backlog is @175 Games... JESUS!

75 are PS3 Retail, then some VITA (I think 9 or 10), then 50 are PSN+/Games I own, the rest are Steam... Fuck My Life... I keep adding =/

Might go grab SSX + Soul Calibur V for $10 each today... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got like that the beginning of this month. Vita got me through.

Playing knights contract as well and i had no intention of playing that either.
with the free games i got from plus and my backlog im at like 40 games.
All the ones that have been hyped to hell and back i really have no intention of playing.
Having more fun playing games i know next to nothing about.

I hope the Detached trophy (Finish the game without anyone latching onto you with your first attempt) is not what it actually seems. Sega should give a clearer explanation about that. :/

I rarely get games, suddenly I get a ton of money and blow it all on games and turns out I never managed time for multiple games before which leaves me...bored I guess? Btw that arkham question for me?

Same here, I've wanted lnfamous 2 for a while and that ended up my last game being played after playing like 15 games in the past 4 days
 
First time posting here, though sadly in the middle of exams so can't play. I do however leave the Xbox on to get the retarded My Kung Fu is Stronger achievement in Mortal Kombat.

Gamerscore is at ~49k, 3 completed arcade games and ~25 retail games. Will focus on beating Mass Effect 2 and Bayonetta on highest difficulty afterwards to complete both.

btw he did a great job on the trophy icons. I hope the platinum looks pretty good!
 
June Progress:

  • Dragon's Dogma- 1000/1000
  • Dead Rising 2- 900/1000
  • Resident Evil 5- 1000/1000
  • Call of Doody: MW3- 880/1000
  • Lollipop Chainsaw- 105/1000


Finally done with MW3. Not bothering with 3-starring or going to wave 15 in the co-op stuff since I couldn't get a game with anyone not 14 and high on sugar. The SP was mostly awful. I enjoyed a few of the more "stealthy" sections further in and, thankfully, the turret sections seemed a little less prevalent as well. Started up Lollipop Chainsaw right after and it's definitely a palate cleanser. Love the game so far. I do wish the combat was a little tighter, but I went in with my expectations in check due to it being a GHM game. This is something I'm going to have to play after my daughter goes to bed though. She barely pays attention to most games I play, but her eyes are glued to this. Had to quit soon after booting it up after she started making pompom punching motions ;). Hopefully be done by the time Spec Ops: The Line comes in. The demo surprised me.

Just killed Scorpion in Unit 13. Thanks Returners! I need about 38 stars for the second to last HVT, I'll probably not 5 star every mission I have left, so other people can easily beat my score for the Friendly Rivalry trophy (like LiquidSolid kinda suggested earlier lol).

The game is great btw. Only thing I don't really enjoy are the stealth levels, but all in all I wouldn't mind if CoD: Declassified went this route.
 
My progress has really granted to a halt these last two weeks, got like 5 Trophies in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. Won't improve much; but still hope to finish that game this month. The game is real fun, but life is killing my gaming time, spent 12 hours at work today. July is sales month here, so I'll probably buy 20-30 DVDs and 10 games next month; so it is time to reduce that backlog.

Not that bad honestly.
I earned way more Camaraderie playing a (fun) couple hours of Versus Ops than Co-Ops with randoms.
S Ranking everything wasn't hard at all, it just gets a bit old when you do all the vehicle fights. The most frustrating tasks may be getting random drops (Rathalos wing and the Zeke custom parts) but even these aren't that random anyway.

It was. I'd never spend so much time on a game I didn't love. But it still deserved a healthy "fuck you" for the countless hours of blowing AI parts and or Fultoning bad guys (who eventually became good guys).

Vic Vos is actually very very easy.
 
Finally hit level 40 in Max Payne 3. Fuck, what a grind. That's one achievement down (hit level 40), one to go (hit level 50).

I think I'm done for now until we learn about what kind of achievements the DLC will have. It'd be a waste to grind from 40 to 50 now if it turns out there are a bunch of DLC achievements in multiplayer.

I think it's absolutely INSANE that Rockstar has released no info yet on the DLC! There's a map pack planned for June 2012... It feels like they're gonna cancel it. Tomorrow is the last Tuesday of the month god dammit, and DLC usually only comes out on Tuesdays for 360.

I was pretty lucky with the AI parts, I only had to play them a couple of times to get them. The Rathalos wing though, took for fucking ever. I spent an entire night grinding those two missions trying to get it before it finally dropped.

And yeah, Vic Voss is easy. Just find a co-op partner to play through the main and special ops with. TheSeks and I got it long before we were finished.

Sucks! I'm always paranoid that will happen with difficulty achievements but it's never happened before with me.

Not to downplay what happened but there are guides that show you how to beat hardcore in 2 hours.

Yeah, I might do that later today, I just want to get it out of the way. Shame I've already conpleted the Yes Man questline though.
 
Edit: looks like its fixed. To be sure check you xbox.com profile and Skyrim should have 60 achievements listed for 1250 gamerscore.

Heads up to those with 360 getting the Skyrim DLC today. Looks like the achievements are not on Xbox.com yet. Until they are listed any unlocked will have to be unlocked again after an account recovery. Best to wait awhile longer till you start playing the DLC.
 
Despite having a huge backlog to take care of, as soon as I finish lollipop chainsaw I'm going to run through it again for cleanup. No way I'm ever going to platinum it. From both a time and skill perspective. I'll get as much as I can though.

Fuck that zombie medals on roof shit though. Geez.

Kill 4 players in 3 seconds in the Imperial Palace

Long Arm of The Law
Win 20 vendettas @ the 55th Battalion

M4 Murder
Level your M4 assault all the way to level 10

Keep Your Nose Clean
Get 100 kills as a member of the SPP

What do you guys think of these achievements? Winning 20 vendettas is gonna be fun, honestly. But Air Ace and Express Checkout sound dumb as hell. I've never used the M4 gun, so I'm gonna have to start playing with that weapon and building its level up from scratch. I'm also guessing SPP is a new faction.
 
Well, that's hardcore mode out of the way, took me just over 2 hours. Don't know if I'll platinum New Vegas, but I'll at least try to see most of what the game has to offer.

one question though, could you reupload the Scorpion HVT one more time. I forgot to get the secret achievement in that level, and I'm not manly enough yet to get 180 stars. I will be forever grateful and in your debt. Feel pretty stupid to ask this again since you were nice enough to post the first two HVTs. Last time I swear! :D

(the 3h time limit on it is pretty BS)

I went nuts and used a jet LOL, went to the air base, jacked one, went to the long highway that is by the space shuttle area, just stayed right above the street light, an dPING! trophy pop

Well I went to Best Buy and got a nice haul, FFXIII-2 for $19.99, SSX w/ Mount Fuji code for $9.99, and Soul Calibur V with Dampiere code for $9.99, not a bad haul

Went to Lego store to comp the Lego Pirates game for $8.99... sold out for PS3 (/_\;)

Now I play the waiting game for R&C HD Collection as an import, hopefully it gets here quickly =3

Think I'm gonna invest a heavy trophy month starting in July, try to accumulate at least 1000 trophies and 10+ platinums
 
I've been playing a lot of PvZ since I got my Vita, and I just saw a patch went out for the Lucky Spin trophy. I assume they made it easier to get.

edit: Okay I started Slot Machine and got it in the first three spins, lol
