Also non Nintendo games are cheap now.... you just don't have to buy them at launch. Almost every AAA $60 release is down to $30 (at least during sales) within the first 6 months and then they just keep dropping lower and lower. Several games that haven't even been out for a year (like Metro Exodus, DMC5, Days Gone) were down to $20 on PSN recently.
And if you switch to PC things get even cheaper between third party key sellers like CDkeys or stores that offer regional pricing depending on where you live (not sure about Africa though I wouldn't be surprised if you get similar prices than here in south america). Like I just bought Jedi Fallen Order for $18.... and that thing came out last month. Or I can go preorder Cyberpunk 2077 right now on GOG for $47
