Yep, as odd as Adventure Time can get sometimes it doesn't come close to the dementia something like Superjail put out in the first season.
Woah, I just realized something. In the 2nd tree trunks episode (the one where finn and jake have to save her from inside the crystal apple), Jake says "If I had a penny for every time I heard that...I'd be abraham lincoln!" At the time, I thought it was just a hilarious nonsensical twist on the classic phrase, but it actually makes sense in the Land of Ooo.
Have you seen a penny in Adventure time besides this part? Jake's phrase seems to have a connection: "If I had a penny for every time I heard that...I'd be abraham lincoln!" - the phrase is usually "If i had a [blank] for every time I heard that, I'd be rich." In other words, jake is saying he would have a lot of pennies. In Adventure Time, Abraham Lincoln owns all of earth's remaining pennies.
Edit: Today's BMO episdode was great! Clever that they had BMO pretend that everyone else was talking. I don't think the other animals talking for real would have fit within the show, so I'm glad they handled it well.

Adam Muto said that it would be pointless to say that everything since Evicted was a dream, and Jesse Moynihan implied that Worm King takes place right after Evicted, and Finn is actually seeing into the future whenever he sees something that took place afterwards.

You mean that they seemed a lot longer than usual? I think it was just an effect of it being a dream.
Haha, that was bugging me in the episode. I was expecting them to grow to huge proportions or something within the dream.
The scene with the mirror had his ears be regular length in the mirror, which I thought was a nice little detail to add to the weirdness. Plus they went back to normal size at the end of the episode after he got rid of the King Worm. Obviously we can take this to mean that all episodes where Finn's hat-ears are regular sized to be true and not a dream, so we don't have to worry about it.

well, that was a mindfuck of an episode (and that's something since we are talking about Adventure Time)... never expected a S1 episode having its continuation on S4.

In the Season 3 episode The Creeps, Finn is scared by a terrifying ghost monster thing, and later represses the memory by locking it in his metal "vault." The ghost unlocking the chest signified the opening of this vault, which caused all of his subconscious and repressed fears (i.e. the ocean, the Lich, clowns, etc.) to cascade out and tear the dream realm apart.
Also, am I the only one who thinks the dried out Worm King husk from the end of the episode was the creepiest thing?

Damn haven't seen the episode yet but I'm glad that ghost from the "vault" made an appearance, that ghost made me 0_o when it showed up and no reason was given.
