Its not 70 and more playtime doesnt mean the game will be better. Im tired of bloated games with garbage content just the stretch out the playtime. 14-16 hour is perfect lenght for a story focused games

Secondly, this is the mindset that is destroying AAA gaming. Endless fluff, padding, and boring/bland empty Open Worlds with repetitive side quests and re-skinned bosses.
12 hours of varied, high quality content is a better value than 70 hours of fluff and low quality open worlds

I would prefer more 6-15 hours games than 50-100 behemoth with bloat.
I can replay a shorter game many times. I've finished half life 2 good 15 times. Uncharted 4 like 7 times...

It looks good and I would love to know more about the story but I hope at least near the end there are more unusual locations. I just don't want to keep seeing the typical streets and forests all the time. He's in another dimension so it should get stranger at some point instead of being a dark mirror of the real world.

This is my first time doing this, but according to Remedy's website they can do playtesting for just about every stage of development. A month ago I saw they were recruiting for a playtesting session in September so I summited and now I'm in!
"You can only mentioned that you've been involved in a Playtest for Remedy." I really loves what this studio is doing since Max Payne so I'm very happy to get this chance, and I won't say more haha. I also respect the (very hard) work that goes into making a videogame so... mouth shut. I just thought it would be nice to know that they are doing a playtest session this month for those who love this studio like me!

Couldnt have said it better myself.
The Mortal Kombat 1 threads were always a trip because the characters werent dressed like cosplaying strippers and were called ugly but the character models in that game are some of the best ive ever seen and even Ashrah grew on me by the end of the campaign....and she was called butt ugly on GAF.

For the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remakes, do you think Remedy are gonna "tone down" Mona Sax? I mean, her character was specifically designed to be a Femme Fatale type but I have the feeling she's "too problematic" nowadays and Remedy might be too afraid of the Twitter and Reddit retards to stick by their designs.

How do you tone down Mona Sax, theres near literally nothing to tone down unless you just make her a new character at which point you might as well make Max a new character too......at which point the game might as well NOT be Max Payne anymore.
Shes supposed to be second only to Max in terms of body count, and she no damsel in distress so she gets the job done...............till:

I did not like Alan Wake back in the day, the game was very tedious in terms of gameplay. They also had this weird mix of Stephen King and Twin Peaks which did not work for me.
That being said I think Control was fantastic, loved everything about it. Also actually a likable female protagonist that did not feel like your standard woke token chick. I am still mad about them race swapping Saga Anderson. Why do that shit?
Graphics and atmosphere seem awesome but really not sold on Saga. I do have faith that the gameplay is better than the original though.

I am sorry I brought this thought up. I dunno. It was just a feeling that Reddit and Twitter might not like it because they're complaining about everything when a woman is depicted in some form of media and maybe Remedy might be afraid of this and therefore decide to change stuff around.
I hope that's not true. I cannot say what they could touch because to me, everything is as tastefully done as it could be.
