Tbh I'm guessing not so good for Series console. It's virtually a given Series S version will not look very good at all. Who knows what negative impact the SS may have had on SX during development. Wouldn't be the first time, unfortunately.

I really wanna root for this game but I'm baffled at the decision to go with dual protagonists. Remedy should give the female FBI agent her own game if they are confident in the character. That way we get twice as much Alan Wake in Alan Wake 2. What is it with developers today gerrymandering single protagonist, single perspective franchises with ensemble casts? It's particularly egregious when the main character has to split screen time down the middle in their own franchise.

If its done well then I dont mind that at all....I enjoyed it in Nier Automata and in Vanillaware games like Odin Sphere, Muramasa and 13 Sentinels.
Maybe play the game first and see how it is before making final judgment.

I was going to say upper 80s or lower 90s but I am shocked at how low control is so the world doesn't make sense to me anymore. Originally I would have said 90 to 92 but after seeing where control landed I'll say 79 to 81 for AW2.

Way to go! It's always baffling to me when devs support the DualSense features on PS5 but somehow don't support it on PC. You already did the work on the PS5 version, just port that shit to PC for heaven's sake! So good on Remedy here. I was already going to buy the game but I'm really happy to see they supporting the DualSense on PC.

I'd argue Spiderman 2 it makes sense to do what they did after Miles has had his own game. I think it's cool actually.
With Spiderman 2 it's obvious how much they want to appeal to black gamers. Nothing wrong with that until they start going woke with the spanglish and beating MJ's face in with a stick.
I'm annoyed by Alan Wake 2 tho.

I legitimately buy more of my games for consoles than i do on my PC even when they're available on both. I prefer console gaming but for certain types of titles I do enjoy a PC experience.

I guess its time to bring out that USB-C cable cuz all I want is the haptics.......when is Sony gonna unleash haptics over bluetooth for PC!!!!
If adding full DualSense support for PC via Bluetooth isn't technically possible Sony should release a USB dongle. They've released one for DS4 and it wasn't even necessary so they should make one for the DualSense. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I love the DualSense features but using a controller wired in 2023 really sucks.

I used too , but my pc is more powerful then my ps5 and having the choice to play games at a higher resolution and higher frame rate is a no brainer for me !

Dualsense adds a lot.
In AW1, you have a stop half way on the left trigger before flashlight battery usage triggers.
Not to mention all the amazing haptics.
Yes. I take immersion and playing the game over selling my souls for 4$ less on fucking epic.
Better resolution and framerate on pc? Sure but I don't care. Not sure my pc is up to the task anyway
