All The Last of Us 2 leaks/spoilers in here and nowhere else.

Because she's patently a dude. She has a dude's hips, shoulders, wrists and hands.

I imagine she has a ten inch cock too, but that's DLC.

She's big for a woman but a buff man would easily be bigger than her. You guys keep exposing your limited knowledge on female physique diversity, it's weird shit.

Can't wait to see the

"Okay, hear me out. Druckmann is a genius" thread like the damage control some gaffer tried when it was announced PS5 hardware were weaker than Xbox Series X or whatever its called.

Is this always going to be console wars for you? BTW the hardware isn't across the board weaker on PS5, double the throughput on the SSD might matter more than 2 extra Tflops, my man, many devs are saying so.

I wonder if this will actually damage sales. Because if it does, then I hope that leaker fled the country. They gunna have to hide in Edward Snowden's basement for this one, wew.

Doubtful at worst it will cost them a few thousands sales. Most won't read spoilers or care about all this agenda bs conspiracy I willing bet this game will sell millions at launch and be highly acclaimed.

I'm so glad nd did this its comedy gold some of these comments are amazing.

This entire leak has been top-quality entertainment for the lockdown.

I'm probably enjoying it more than i'll the game when i'm eventually forced to play it by my cousin.

Damn. It must be a huge game, because one Blu-ray disc can hold 50GBs of data (two layers that can each hold 25GBs of data). So, this game must be between 51GBs and 100GBs; however, I'm assuming that the game's cutscenes are what will take up most of the discs' space.
The cut scenes are not pre-rendered so no that is not what’s taking up the space on discs. According to the writer of the game, this game is 50% bigger in scope and 50% longer than the first one.

Its no game we play, but a narrative.
Make no mistake, our favorite game is our true world view.

Masculine female character playing a vital role in the story means the game is "woke". They believe it's forcing this agenda down our throats. I don't see why this would trigger people much.

Because Abby is no one, kill one of main characters, beat to death another one and you are still forced to play with her?
Yeah, no reasons at all.

Guys

I may have seen the spoilers on Eurogamer as staff/mods left spoilers unmoderated for over 5 hours. Can someone tell me if this is true. May as well know at this point.

Joel is killed by a golf club. Abbie kills Joel and Ellie

Thanks

We don't have confirmation of
Ellie, but Joel

Ellie doesn't die.
Can't say she's a no one if we haven't played her story.

And? Lol she beat the crap out the 2 and leave them for death but they survive. Don't try dodging bullets here since you're the one asking silly questions. People has justified reasons to be mad with the story. No backstory of Abby gonna save people from being mad at 2 protagonist characters suffering because of her.

And? People feel differently when one character dies compared to two. That makes a big difference. There are still people going around who believe Ellie dies and Abby is a trans.

There's just a high level of sensitivity. People are too focused on politics.

We don't know yet.

1 - Fight between Ellie and Abbey is not in the final game.
2 - After the fight, Dina have his baby and Ellie leave using Joel jacket.
3 - Something will happen, for better to worst. The real person who act Joel explain for the fans that they 'need to have a open mind'.

I don't get this childish viewpoint on the franchise. The actions Joel takes at the end of TLOU were villainous, not heroic. This isn't a Marvel film, these characters are multi-faceted and deep and make actual mistakes. TLOU wasn't just some fun adventure where you meet Joel and Ellie and love them unconditionally for being so great, like you guys are acting like this happened in a new Uncharted game or something where things are meant to just be breezy and fun, no it's a game where Joel murders unarmed surgeons trying to save the entire world because he can't face losing his new surrogate daughter the way he lost the last. There's an interesting and poetic nature to the idea that someone would come for revenge for the things Joel has done, I bet the revenge quest is even positioned as being as single minded as Joel's own ethos that got this all down the wrong path. "My fan favorite got beat up" is really sad shit, like WTF kind of entertainment did you want from this? Guardians of the Galaxy?

People were reporting that Ellie died during the fight and so far, I haven't seen or heard anything regarding Ellie's conduction after this scene.

I think Troy Baker's comment falls in line with taking control of Abby after playing killing Joel. We go through her story and we have to view it from her standpoint.

Its hilarious. According to some of the creative geniuses around here, having your protagonists be less than invincible is bad writing. Not very dramatic is it, when there are no stakes? Not to mention that being a game, you're extremely likely to see your character get killed numerous times by regular foes over the course of the story.

Honestly, putting down these asinine complaints is shooting fish in a barrel.

I don't know why people focus way on Abby's looks. I get it, she's way too unrealistic in some of the pictures (and she's an utterly bland white woman with brown hair and grey/green/brown clothing, which is a terrible trend), but it might be something with angles, especially as she doesn't look like that in that one trailer that was previously released. Focusing on looks and shit just takes the attention of what an absolute mess the plot is. Everyone was already expecting they'd try to make some really manly woman or include a transgender person (which I honestly don't mind, but blatantly doing so seems so jarring), so I don't get people's surprise. But the plot....

The biggest shitshow is still the plot and that's what people are generally upset about. What an utter travesty it is. It's not brilliant (but it clearly thinks it is), it's not new (there are tons of false protagonists or protagonist switches in many media), it just is a complete mismatch with the first game and it's structurally terrible from a narrative point of view.
Honestly, I could imagine a lot of ways they'd take the story, but a bland revenge cycle for a game that's about the human existence and human relations, is just disappointing.

Dude I don't give a crap about politics. You made a silly question as if theres no reason out there for peple to be mad. Simple as that, don't try push politics on me because I don't care.

Childish viewpoint is expecting morals and justice out of a story about zombie apocalipse where everyone is mad, whoever fights better survives and if you don't watch your back you're backstabbed. No one is right, everybody is wrong. But yeah, "Joel".

The amount of leaps in logic and assumptions people are making here is baffling. The leaks do not give you the full story or the full context for the events. Everything you guys are saying is premature assumptions based on out of context scenes. Like one of you is even talking about the STRUCTURE of the plot? Based on what a short summary of a 30 hour game? Like this shit is fucking madness. Get a clue.

What leap are we talking exactly?

READ what I said.

I was talking to another person about people complaining about politics in TLOU2 and you replied to that post.

I said it was a dumb reason to think that decision was made due to politics.

What leap are we talking exactly?

You're assuming the game doesn't justify the beats you've been spoiled on without seeing for yourself. You're talking like you already know the entire context and justification for the decisions in these scenes. It easily identifies you as being terrible at narrative literacy, we don't experience narratives to have the things we want happen happen, at least most of us don't, if you just want a checklist of events that happen with no actual contextual meat surrounding them you can easily create such a thing yourself. Playing a game like this is about allowing the game to take you on a narrative journey that takes hours to reach the story beats you've been spoiled on and you somehow think you know if it's justified or what it says about morality or some shit. Like it's patently absurd how you're acting. If you want your narratives to just be safe rehashes that just make you happy stick to Marvel movies and Nintendo games or something.

So, what can we expect? A semi-open world game, like Crysis 3, in which each map is very large and the missions therein can be executed in any order? Or can we expect a fully open-world game?

I expect something more akin' to Crysis 3 than fully open world. As a fan of Crysis 3 that's cool news for me.

It's honestly just painful to read the myriad of mental gymnastics some people ITT are willing to go through to try and justify this.

Naughty Dog fucked up and fucked up BAD. They sacrificed what peope loved about this first game just to push far left dogma.

Makes me wonder what people loved about the first game. Nothing that leaked is contradictory to the sort of things I loved the first game for.

I didn't say justify, I sayed it won't matter. Because at the end of day 2 of protagonists of the game suffer. Theres probably a trama in between...maybe Ellie is as much as trouple as Joel(which is hilarious you painting Joel as master mind evil villain). But again, expecting a Joel or Ellie fans to have sentiments for someone that just appeared in this game out of nowhere? Hard to buy.
Absurd is wasting my time explaining the reason for people to be mad as if the leak is not reason enough lol.
But if your narrative is just that everyone should be friendly, justice giving in a zombie apocalipse game then maybe you're playing the wrong game. You're the one watching too much Marvel movies and trying to apply this logic here lol. I'm even surprised because you sound kinda mad with what I said in a leak thread, where the discussion is basically that.
Myself? I'm cool. Just expecting to see exactly what this Abby is and if Ellie really dies at the end.

We don't need "the full story" to have grasp of structure or overarching plot. So why the fuck are you harping up in defense like that? Sure, we don't know EVERYTHING, but if you need to know everything to make sure that something's not awful, then I am baffled on how you walk around on this world. Are you one of those going: "It's just the alpha", "It's just the beta", "it's just the first patch", etc?
In numerous posts I've pointed out that TLoU wasn't amazing in plot either, but it made up for it with the interpersonal relations and dialogue, thus that TLoU2 might be better than its plot. However, that we don't have much evidence and firm information about the plot and structure, just seems like an utterly deflective criticism. You might say we don't have all the scenes, which is fair criticism on the quality of the game, but that is irrelevant regarding the overarching plot. Especially regarding the structure, we have very specific information. Thou protest too much, methinks.
