I haven't found a phone where auto brightness is tolerable yet. I'll switch it to low sometimes, but auto is annoying when you see it change right in front of you.

Honestly, I'm hoping the G4 will be good, even with the 810. Brownlee even said the M9 with the 810 still has a lower temp than the LG G3 does.
Well the G3 wasn't throttled to shit like the M9 was.
Guys, I'm going to renew my phone contract in the coming two months and I'm not sure what to buy now. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, is an "upgrade" to the LG G3 worth it (30 a month)? I think it looks insanely sweet and I assume it's somewhat better too. I don't think I'll be buying an S6, M9 or G4, all of them seem to be 45 a month and that's too much at the moment.
Waiting on ZHD myself.
Yeah sure thing here you go http://i.imgur.com/yD2etuN.jpg
Also guys any idea why this lousy dot keeps appearing? only thing in my notification is the Android wear one and this only just started happening a couple of days ago. http://i.imgur.com/gTo9fQa.png it's a bit hard to make out in the picture.
So basically LG copies Samsung who copies Apple. I eagerly await the dual edged metal and glass G5.
LG > Samsung > Apple
LG > Moto
LG copied the worst part of Moto, that ugly ass leather.
10 bucks says apple copies Moto with the always listening tech this year since they already made an attempt at it (Hey Siri while plugged in).
4K resolution on a 5.7 inch phone? Lol, say goodbye to battery life.soo , the UHD Super AMOLED is real from samsun , and maybe the Note 5 will have it
http://www.phonearena.com/news/Note...-dual-edge-version-with-record-762ppi_id68088
Ultra HD 2160 x 3840 pixels Super AMOLED displays
5.78" for the inevitable dual edge Note 5, and 5.89 inches for the regular, flat display version
note sure how they gonna make it
what the point again for a ~5 inch screen to be bigger then 1080P ?
Anyone here use android auto on their cars? My device isn't compatible and I'm pretty sure my car isn't either but I'm curious as to what others think of it.

After coming off an S4 myself, yes. But only if it's the 32gb version. The 16 is too hamstrung.
Yes, I meant the 32GB version because of the 3GB of RAM. I thought maybe it makes it a little more "future" proof for the next two years. So the switch is worth it then? Thanks!

s6 is living proof my friendbeen hearing this since 480x800

s5 had better battery, and this is with some supposedly super efficient chip. Not really. It has the same battery life as any 1080p phone with the same size battery.

you blame the screen and mention the smaller battery, but the benchmarks show the real culprit...
premium materialsantenna design.
when the screen is on, the battery life is better than the GS5.
it suffers when cell tower connectivity comes into play.
maybe. Maybe not. I bet the vast majority of the reviews saying the battery life are worse weren't using the cellular tech much.you blame the screen and mention the smaller battery, but the benchmarks show the real culprit...

but the new soc is supposed to be a lot more efficient so it's kind of moot on this one. Which is why the thinness/resolution/etc...is to blame and not so much the battery size.Doens't the S5 have a bigger battery? 2800 mAh vs 2550mAh.

who talks on their phone and isn't on wifi most of the time these daysi wanna see the receipts
Ars is already upArs and Anand will show the truth.

the fact that it's powering more pixels is basically my whole pointBut the battery test isn't to cater to just the web browser and media users. Oh and your comparison is weak as well because you mentioned the smaller chip but didn't mention it is also powering more pixels.
Ars is already up
There is still a VoLTE bug that's destroying battery life. Fixing it won't work miracles, but it will definitely help.

Ouch, there's the cold hard battery truth. Samsung was so stupid to go with the Quad HD screen.

Ars also confirmed you can only do always listening with s-voice. OK google with long press on home but s-voice when phone is off. Wtf Samsung.

I was able to use it with Nova launcher. I'm not sure with the Touchwiz launcher. The only thing is that it doesn't work from a screen off state.
Edit: It worked the same way with the Touchwiz launcher as well.
I don't doubt it.Eh? I'd say it probably added around 1 hour SoT for me. That's like a 25-30% jump from where I was getting prior.
