Gear means abilitiesSo I just got a MW that has "Gear: +150% damage". Does this mean every ability or what does "gear" stand for in this case?
Also, dos it have a gear icon or a person icon? Because thats important.

If you're running the game with Afterburner on, turn Afterburner off. Thank me laterI've read around a bit, and it seems w7 is the problem somehow. Others are reporting massively crippled performance vs w10 even though both are running DX11.
This is disappointing because Derek French from bioware actually said the game runs "fine" on w7 and w8, they just don't officially support it; guess it doesn't run fine at all, and couldn't find a way to fix the performance because frostbite is full of buggy nonsense.
Game crashed so hard it took my ps4 offline with it. Had to reboot manually from the console. Between this and the many bugs and connection errors I'm getting I'm out for the day. Anthem still has potential but they're gonna have to really get patches out consistently to get where it needs to be.
Great game. Quality of life and bugs aside... I’ve never disagreed with people as much as I do for both fallout 76 and anthem.
People definitely oversold strongholds. They’re the equivalent of destiny strikes at best.
I think I’m officially done buying games till death stranding. Between Anthem, Destiny and Fallout ... I know I won’t want to play anything else.
I saw on Reddit that some guy got a refund for the game because of hard crashed,he got it from online store,in this instance I also send them a mail to see if I'm able to get a refund,I stop playing in fear of bricking my consoleGame crashed so hard it took my ps4 offline with it. If only I played Interceptor.
Sure does, but you have 3 dashes with the Interceptor so gaining those 3 stacks is easier and faster.Woudn't that work quite well with ranger too?
I am playing through the game solo and enjoying the story quite a bit. I am not a fan of the looter shooter genre and therefore, the endgame problem is non-present for me. I am just enjoying a new and fresh Bioware story. Not the best they have done (think about what they could have done if they made this single player only in a Mass Effect style with focus on story, characters and decisions), but I still enjoy it. Never saw (story spoiler)coming.the betrayal
The bugs are really what frustrates me more than the lack of content.
Sound bug? Still not fixed, and the game already doesn't give you enough feedback in combat.
Bounty waypoint bug? Still not fixed, so what should be a benefit (more chances for drops) really wastes your time.
Want to farm challenges as endgame? Great! Unfortunately, some of those are busted outright or have visual bugs so that you have to track them manually.
You know what's NOT fun? Doing three legendary contracts and getting the same MW item three times!! I mean... What the fuck?!?!
Nope. GM1. Same component three times. I don't understand it myself. What are the odds! Although according to the in game text if you're not at GM difficulty the pool of MW item is smaller so maybe not that unlikely.
I don't. I do the three legendary contracts per day for the MW items and that is it. I don't know how people can grind Strongholds all day. Even the three contracts a day are mind-numbingly boring. For those in endgame, how are you able to play the same few missions over and over without falling into a coma?
I just do it as part of my daily event requirements. It's not like there's anything to buy with coins so I'm in no hurry. In no way am I looking forward to farming out events for that legionnaire quest. 25 quickplay, 25 strongholds, 25 contracts... yea I’ll spread that over like a year. It’s much easier to wait for new content.
I just really, really like playing Colossus. There's just no other game with the same feel. For those in endgame, how are you able to play the same few missions over and over without falling into a coma?

The gameplay is fun, but ultimately very shallow. A ton of potential for sure, but with so little content I just couldn't continue.I just really, really like playing Colossus. There's just no other game with the same feel.

I hear you. I would play the game more but the little bit of "end game" content that we have burns me out very fast. There is no real point in doing anything but stuff that guarantees a MW at the end.Not having MW components drop for you fucking suuuuuuuuuuuckks, trying to gear up my storm and it's a pain with these rinky dink shields without the MW bonus. Even with consumables I get shredded pretty easily.
The struggle is real.

To be fair that's pretty much how every endgame grind goes. You only do stuff that matters. It's just that Anthem has much less ways to grind. Realistically there's really only 1 stronghold worth doing because Temple of Scar has crappy boss gating mechanics making it annoying to do with randoms and Heart of Rage is just plain tedious. So basically the endgame is doing your 3 daily legendary contracts and as much Tyrant Mine as you can stomach. The bad part of the grind is that there's still no guarantee of getting what you want. They really fucked up when they made it so that the only way you can get a blueprint is to get the item in the first place. I still play cause I enjoy the gameplay but it's incredibly disheartening getting the same drops over and over but not the one you want. Sure I can scrap all that trash for mats but there's no point in those mats if you don't have the blueprint to begin with. At the very least they should have given a guaranteed way to get blueprints, a grind that has a clear purpose instead of pure RNG.I hear you. Currently it isn't a "loot shooter", it's a "salvage shooter"...To be fair that's pretty much how every endgame grind goes. You only do stuff that matters. Pretty much every MMO has a token system which is really the proper way to get people playing long term. You give them purpose to log in and each time they log in, they make progress. Even desire sensor emulator Monster Hunter World lets you look at drops before hand so you can see how far you are away from a deco you want. It gives grinding dual purpose, to move the table forward and to give you more resources so you can see even further through the upcoming drops. Anthem does have the blue prints for reputation based challenges, a woefully shitty alternative to grinding that lets you craft epics by the time you're swimming in masterworks.Currently it isn't a "loot shooter", it's a "salvage shooter"...
I also play FFXIV and there you get a certain currency after each dungeon/instance which means even if the stuff you want doesn't drop you can buy it eventually after doing the instance X times. They should do the same with Anthem. If you are after a certain item and it doesn't drop you can buy the blueprint with this currency you get for doing contracts or strongholds from a vendor. That way you are working towards the thing you want and you'll get it even if the RNG gods have abandoned you. Or just increase the fucking MW drop rate which would be way more fun!

I entered a quick play mission with infinite respawn of dominions, impossible to finish, leaved the mission and tried again, ended in the same instance with the same players again.
Got the feats xp 2x, they didn't reset after the first try.
When you guys do freeplay on GM1, do you play events by yourself or do you try to find the other people on that server?
Edit: doesn't matter anyway since there are rarely any events popping up in freeplay still
It's not worth it though. I just did 5 events on GM2 and only whites, greens and purples. Fuck this game.If you're rarely seeing events on gm1 it is because other people are doing them. I started doing harvest runs on gm3 and there are events *everywhere* since nobody was actually doing them.
If I see 2 people together i'll tag along, hitting resource nodes.

I've never even seen a legendary. And I'm not even full MW cause the specific gear I want won't drop.I did a GM run today, maybe did 6-7 events, got a couple MW and a legendary component. The component was a tiny upgrade.
Damn. Do you run with +luck inscriptions?I did a GM run today, maybe did 6-7 events, got a couple MW and a legendary component. The component was a tiny upgrade.
I run with 100+ luck, personal opinion is that it's a bullshit stat cause I still get whites and greens. It's such a non-factor that I consider myself lucky to get 1 extra MW from a Stronghold run. I did get 2 extra MW one time but it's never happened again.Damn. Do you run with +luck inscriptions?
