(Still filling this section out)

three things: a digital watch with touch controls; a revolutionary fitness tracker; and a breakthrough fashion accessory.

a digital watch; a fitness tracker; and a fashion accessory. … are you getting it?

These are not three separate devices, this is one device, and we are calling it iWatch.

w00t w00t all hail the big boy + bracelet

Typing this on my Macbook Pro while I check my texts on my iPhone but still keeping track of the game on my iPad while streaming a movie on my Apple TV, with my iMac backing up my iPhoto library AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TIME IT IS, YO TIM COOK, HELP ME OUT.

None of this is true - except I am typing on my Macbook

iTime has a better ring to it, though.

Really, really excited for this event.

For a couple years now, we've had Tim Cook tell us there are some "huge surprises" coming out of Apple's R&D soon; I'm hoping this is finally the culmination of all that hype.

Here's the deal, though: I always wanted an Apple cellphone. I always wanted a tablet computer. But I can't say I've always wanted a "smart watch." I like my variety of watches - I use them as a fashion accessory to match my outfits. Additionally, I can't imagine it doing something my cellphone can't. But, if I've learned anything, it's to not doubt Apple's ability to convince me I need something.

If I had to guess what the iWatch will bring:

1. Actually fashionable - either thinner, cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing; I don't know; but it'll make the Samsung watch look silly.

2. Ridiculously accurate health tracking: heart rate, steps, sleep patterns, etc.

3. Connectivity to your phone

4. Payments by "swiping" your wrist when at checkout.

5. Will clearly be a typical "Apple Generation 1" device, with clear room for improvement (better battery, higher-res display, thinner, etc), but it will look better than the competition. Releases in Q1 2015 for $300 and $400.

iPhone 6:

1. 4.7" and 5.5" model; smaller releases a week later; the bigger one releases in "October," will end up being a limited-supply release last friday in october.

2. Some significant changes to the OS so that it better works in one hand.

3. Clearly full integration into iWatch

4. NFC, significantly better battery on the larger model

5. But people will ask "that's it?!" and will be pissed Apple is just copying the Note at this point. To be honest, they're "kinda" right, in the sense I don't expect a huge game changer with this release. Though Apple will push their "iWallet" and NFC/wireless payments will finally actually take off.

6. iPhone 4.7: 16GB/32GB/64GB $199/$299/$399; iPhone 5.5" 16GB/64GB/128GB $299/$399/$499

Crossing my fingers for new mac minis and itouches.

The iPod line could use an update, especially the iPod Touch. I might just go for one if they end up selling one with the larger screen.

I've been holding out on smart watches and fitness trackers, so I'm hoping the iWatch is what I'm looking for, but being a Gen 1 device makes it iffy, because it'll definitely be significantly better in Gen 2.

Unfortunately for them, that's now become their MO, and I'm tired of always thinking that. I've had an iPhone since the 4, and I've been dragging myself along waiting for something great to happen. If this isn't it, then I'm taking my needs elsewhere.

Won't the iWatch need to be equipped with a fully-functional pair of bluetooth enabled earbuds to really be effective? I just don't see it working with corded earbuds, which also makes me think that the new iPhone model will feature something similar.

I just bought a Macbook pro, so I'm really just interested in how the new software will capitalize on their philosophy of "continuity" - though, I do see myself purchasing a new model iPhone if it impresses me, as I am currently barely functioning with this archais iPhone 4.

I hope the iWatch requires earbuds with cords, just for the sheer stupidity of it.

I really want a 5.5inch iphone with 32GB, but if the rumors prices are correct Im looking at spending $500 subsidized?

Thats crazy for a subsidized phone.

We'll see.

Your cord will just go into your iPhone as usual.

I have used a pay with wrist system, the actual act of turning around your wrist and placing it against a counter top terminal was kind of awkward. Tapping my phone is actually more comfortable.

Edit: 22ft Phablet

Desperately want the 5.5" model but if it doesn't release the same day I'll have to get the 4.7 before I leave the US. Will have to have my fiancé bring me the 5.5 at Christmas if it comes out after but can't possibly be without an iPhone until then. So done with Android and ready to jump back.

Cannot wait for the 8th Gen iPhone reveal, bring it Apple!

Please don't be too big, please don't be too big, please don't be too big...

Looking forward to it.

Especially info on the payments system and the watch.

I'm actually most excited about payments, Apple will do it right, finally. Everyone else was futzing around with it, Apple has the clout, marketshare and mindshare to force it through finally.

Here in Canada we have tap to pay at most places already, I've been wanting a phone payment system for a long time.

Payments will hopefully be awesome, most places in England already do nfc type payments with cards so doing it on my phone which is always in my hand would be amazing.

iWatch however I most likely have no interest in. It's fine if you don't already have a watch but there's no way I'm replacing my 3K watch with some £300 toy from Apple. The people I see getting this are people that don't care about watches and either don't currently own one or have some sub 500 dollar piece. As a watch lover I would like to be proven wrong though. They need a collection at a bunch of pricepoints in my opinion, not one or two watches.

Make or break for me if I finally decide to make the jump to Android. I'm super excited, but I doubt we will ever get an upgrade like the iPhone 4.

i'm already unimpressed with the iphone 6 leaks. I was waiting for this phone to upgrade from my 4s. The design seems so behind everyone else though.

If the iwatch doesn't really impress i see Apple stock getting smoked.
