These seem like must have mods. Any others you'd recommend? I'm thinking about re-installing...
I have a handful , if I can chip in.
TPW MODS - A modset that adds ambient life, a suppression system for you and the AI, and improved line of sight setups for the AI. I do suggest leaving stuff that enhances the core game like TPW LOS and TPW EBS on if you're using single player content, but other stuff like civilians can break the campaign in strange ways. If you're wanting to use this for existing content but to have that be more realistic, use parts of it that do not add in-game assets like boats and cars.
ASR AI - One of the best AI mods for ArmA II also is updated for III. It gives each acting person who is run by AI skill sets based on class and rank. It really deals with the complete idiocy to complete superhuman elements during combat that vanilla AI offers. The AI can also attempt to rearm and toss out smoke when shot at. Really recommended beyond any other AI mod for the series, as it's simple and is easy to add onto other mods.
JTD Flies - A simple addon that adds flies to corpses after they've been dead for a while, to help determine who is dead or injured. I don't think there are any major mods to ArmA III that enable passing out just yet, so this is mostly cosmetic.
Jump MF - You might say jumping in a game based on realism is silly, but this mod simply unlocks a feature Bohemia was planning for the game. It allows you to do little hops while running so long as you have the stamina for it. It's better than coming to a dead stop to do a slow vault if you're trying to get over a fence quickly.
Midrange Terrain Texture Replacement - This replaces some of the weaker textures of the game to a much more detailed one. Really desired if you want visual improvement, and covers both Stratis and Altis.
Tao Folding Map - This is a very handy addon that allows you to access the map in real time like the compass, watch, or GPS. No need to transition to another screen to look at the map.
TMR Module Realism Alternate - Currently the closest mod to be closest to ACE in a general sense, allowing you to rest your weapon on objects, allow more realistic scopes, and more realistic weapon sway. The reason this is called Alternate is due to the person who originally started the mod ceasing working to it, and this is the more up to date version.
All of these mods can work with the mods previously posted. I actually use all of them. The ALPHA and BETA tags are for what phase the of the game these were released towards, but they all still work.
