Just curious, how do the same people deal with Origin, Uplay, Xbox Live, Epic, Rockstar Launcher and Battle.net when buying games on Steam?

If someone likes the game, this won’t stop him. This is only problem to people who would whine whatever happenedThis could have been avoided by not altering the deal. Pretty simple, even the ceo agrees.
Will be interesting to see what the CCU is, when and if it goes into effect.
People are unable to play the game they purchased if they live in one of the many countries that can't make PSN accounts.
"Over Reaction"? Nah, this is a normal reaction.
You are probably right, people that bought the game in many countries can't actually use it anymore, but it's ok just sign up using a different country right? Thing is they shouldn't have to as the game was purchased before this was a thing.
Outside launchers are a common thing on PC, but it's not common to enforce additional accounts and logins months after the game has been released, especially for a service that's not supported worldwide. That's the main controversy, Sony should've made that requirement on day 1 instead of taking money from everyone and then changing the deal.Just curious, how do the same people deal with Origin, Uplay, Xbox Live, Epic, Rockstar Launcher and Battle.net when buying games on Steam?
They pay less for games, don’t have paid online like we suckers on console and still find way to boycott every new releaseSeriously, this gen made me dislike the Pc Community. Like they’re very overreacting and they port beg like there’s no tomorrow.
Some gamer’s just don’t have corporate shrines at home they worship all day long. Especially outside of Xbox und Sony world. They pay less for games, don’t have paid online like we suckers on console and still find way to boycott every new release
I don't get the all drama about creating free acc & link it to the game. PC nerds are like spoiled child......they want everything & cant give up something.
Personal shrines? I don’t like how you throw all People who like PlayStation under one category. Maybe they are just satisfied consumers who actually play games. Some gamer’s just don’t have corporate shrines at home they worship all day long. Especially outside of Xbox und Sony world.
If you force your consumers into an new, unknown, not established ecosystem they never agreed with at the moment of purchase months back you have to expect a huge backslash.
They don’t ever care to explain it or convince their customers. They just want to force them like dump sheeps. Feel free if you want to be a sheep. I understand everyone who feels offended.
That’s just a brilliant example of bad product management.

Some people from China and Philippines have reported getting banned when trying to use a VPN to create/link a PSN account. This could really be a big issue.
People don't really want to hear it. His followers aren't people, they're shills. Pay no attention to any of them.Another usual bad take from asmongold. He bootlicks his chat. Such a populist.he doesn’t know the details or anything but always have an opinion people want to hear. Never opposite opinion. I am starting to dislike the guy.
Is it really such a sin to try and get some pc players into ps ecosystem…. For free.
The ONLY people that need to complain about this are the people that are from one of the affected countries. If you are not, then stop complaining. People that get the sads on behalf of others that they don't even know really gives me the shits.People are unable to play the game they purchased if they live in one of the many countries that can't make PSN accounts.

It’s a big problem with asmon because he is the biggest guy right now. Everyone listens to him. And that’s dangerous.People don't really want to hear it. His followers aren't people, they're shills. Pay no attention to any of them.

Yeah that’s terrible. This one can’t be argued with. They should not have been selling the game in those countries in the first place or should not require psn there.PSN accounts are different because they're hardlinked to the PS Store of the country you're in. That's an issue since PSN is available in 69 countries but there are roughly 190 independent countries currently. Anyone in a non supported country will have to lookup the address details of a random person or company in a supported country in order to create a fake but valid PSN account with complete address details.
That's ridiculous.
Its a bad image. Sony went back on their words after stating you arent required the psn account.
Trust is broken at this point.
I bet you were glad to be part of something glorious even as a dirty console peasant.I remember i had to make a steam account to play portal 2 multiplayer on PS3 I didn't mind.
Gta4 added launcher to a 10 years old purchase on steam. And it’s just rockstar….Boycott and review bomb the shit out of it. It doesn’t matter if it takes 2 seconds to create an account to play a game, a shitty practice is still a shitty practice. Removing access from Steam players unless they make a PSN account several months after release is unfair especially when certain regions aren’t available. That community manager response… holy fuck.
Your point: It’s happened in the past, PSN is really popular, so it’s okay.Gta4 added launcher to a 10 years old purchase on steam. And it’s just rockstar….
Psn is more widely used
Eh dont bother. Gaf has a lot of corporate bootlickers.Your point: It’s happened in the past, PSN is really popular, so it’s okay.
My point flew by your head.Your point: It’s happened in the past, PSN is really popular, so it’s okay.

It was Arrowhead that disabled it in the game in the first place when they were having issues. This could have been avoided by not altering the deal. Pretty simple, even the ceo agrees.

So? What do you mean by limited use and wide use? Elaborate a little more please because I don’t get how this makes any of what happened completely fine.My point flew by your head.
GTA 4 - single player game. now gated by Launcher + account. That account is limited use.
Helldivers 2 - Multiplayer only game. now gated by account. That account is wide use.
Yes. He is a ghoul and people listen to him.Isn't this guy that has severe gingivitis/periodontitis, and smeared the blood from his gums all over his bedroom wall (because he was too lazy to get out of bed)? I also remember seeing a clip of a cockroach crawling on him mid-stream because he never cleans and his entire place is infested. Dude is absolutely disgusting and I'm surprised he still has a huge following.
Its wasnt common knowledge, alot of people saw a viral game and bought it on steam, unfair to say it came out of nowhereWasn't it always required? I recall reading at launch that Sony temporarily disabled PSN accounts for Helldivers because of the server stability. Now they fixed it... so why are people pretending like this came out of nowhere?
And why should anyone care about you liking or disliking them?Seriously, this gen made me dislike the Pc Community. Like they’re very overreacting and they port beg like there’s no tomorrow.

The only real problem is all those people who seemingly cannot make a PSN account. The rest crying about it will make one and continue playing lol.guys. I just went to Twitter and it seems this shit is a big deal. Daniel ahamad or whatever is fricking out I guess. and I'm seeing a lot of tweets about it and a lot YT videos saying Sony killed HD2
This is a PR disaster that could shape the future of Play station PC initiative in its entirety
wrong, retard. Its a bad image. Sony went back on their words after stating you arent required the psn account.
