Speaking of Boom Blox, anybody want to buy my copy from me? I like it, but it didn't hook me or anything.

Will be happy to trade with 360/PS3/Wii games too

ffs I wish the OFLC site would work again, there's been nothing added since 22/4

You just get the 4 results all the time? Or a different error?

I search from May 2009 to May 2014 and get nothing. If I do Apr 2009 to May 2014 I get the same 52 games I've gotten for the last 3 weeks

Ah shit, I haven't played MGS3 yet, ever, and it's next on my 'to-play' list. I got the vanilla, non-Subsistence version- am I gonna have that hard a time playing with the borked camera? Is the right-stick controlled camera in Subsistence worth it for me to try track down a copy?

Also keen on AusGAF impressions of inFamous. It really does look a bit plain.

You guys can't be serious.

Serious about what exactly? I don't get what you mean.

Subsistence versions is the one you want to play for sure.

This story and the comments is the funniest shit I've read all day.

MvK of Perth Posted at 4:38pm today

sony just don't get it and nor does your average consumer. most people don't know about the ps3 failure rate because sony don't want to talk about it (how's that for warranty and after sales support!!) buying a PS3 is like buying an overpriced kettle and being told it's worth the money because you get a toaster and a clock with it. It's my experience that the only reason people buy a PS3 is because they previously owned a PS2 and they don't want to pay for online games (xbox live gold works out fo 20c per day if you do the maths!!) What does that say about your average sony customer?

:lol :lol :lol

come on this dude has to be from gaf! ;)

The demo is an absolute blast. I've been trying to finish Siren: Blood Curse but I just end up quitting and playing the inFamous demo for the umpteenth time, it's addictive :D

It's not borked but it is easier to use in Subsistence plus there is awesome extra features etc.

How does it look plain? :lol

Game is awesome, try the demo out. It's like best superhero open-ended game since Spiderman 2.

Just saying IMO that MGS3 deserved all the scores it got. I am a bit biased for sure, but it is still one of the best games i've ever played.

This. I think i've played the demo about 14 times now :lol

I'm not saying it didn't but I only played Subsistence and enjoyed it emensly.

I went in all cynical and it really is an amazing game. Hopefully there's enough substance in the full version to hold my attention though, that's my only major concern.

Yeah, that was my biggest concern coming out of the demo. I think Sucker Punch hit a perfect balance between available abilities and the layout of missions within' the context of a demo. But to whether they can strike a similar balance over a 7-10+ hour game will be interesting to see.

But yeah, the demo is amazing. There's definitely a fantastic and addictive flow to the combat once you start to learn and chain abilities together and just going Palpatine on half the city and tinkering around with all the different ways you can blow shit up, is just good ol' fashion fun.

Got the gigawatt edition pre-ordered at JB. Hopefully the ANZ beta team gets in on the UC2 demo.

Also Darklord mentioned above that the Aussie version of Prototype was/is butchered. Apparently it's not.

Wait, really? I'm sure I read the Australian and Germany version's violence was seriously toned down. I hope David is right.

It's worth playing either version, either way it is an absolutely brilliant game. While it isn't my favourite MGS, it definitely has my favourite MGS ending.

Has anyone used jbhifi online? I dont drive and im lazy so online works well for me most of the time. I might try and grab infamous off it.

Also... OMG!

42 DVDS of the gilmore girls for $149 at JB!!!!

People with $150 ready to splurge on their next indulgence now have a moral dilemma to face: Gilmore Girls or the Rock Band complete kit.

jbhifionline are pretty good- i've bought some games from them in the past. should take a couple of days for stuff to arrive

Gilmore Girls for $150- that's like only $90 a season- SOLD!

Thanks to everyone for their opinions on MGS3 and inFamous. I am happily going to play just the Vanilla version of MGS3 and have been looking forward to playing it for a long time.

As for inFamous, I haven't played the demo because I
don't have a PS3
, and was hoping to see whether it was another quality exclusive to compel me to finally pick up the console. It just doesn't really look that interesting, but if the gameplay really is as addictive as y'all have been saying it is, then I might give it a look.

I hate myself for feeling this way, but that Gilmore Girls thing is pretty fucking tempting. 42 discs! That'd keep me going for ages.

it would appear that last night, a random bunch of Aussie PS3 owners were emailed codes to download the inFamous demo off the Aussie PSN. Anybody have any more info, particularly with respect to how they were picked?

Damn straight. Im more interested in what sort of box it comes in, how big that bastard is :lol

Just image the ladies going through your dvd collection and BAM there's a 42 disc, 7 seasons box set of the gilmore girls. Talk about win win situation.

With Pokemon Platinum's release today; Nintendo Australia's release schedule looks like this;

- Rhythmn Heaven
- Donkey Kong Jungle Beat

Fuck yeah!

But that'd mean they'd want to watch them. That's a lose situation to me, though not nearly as bad Sex and the City.

Its not a bad show, i honestly dont mind it at all :lol . Used to watch it every week before it finished.

It's got the Jeff Green seal of approval, remember.

I just informed my ex about it, because she hates the show with a passion. She's now insinuating that the only reason I want to buy that box set is because of the underage daughter, which really isn't true. I want to own it because it's 42 discs. I'd probably buy any reasonably priced 42 disc box set.

This new DVDCrave website is driving me batshit insane. It used to be the best place to search recently released games and browse upcoming games. Now it's practically unusable.

Can I have some advice? What websites do you all visit now to buy your games?

I use CDWow.com.au, but they're not as reliable as they used to be either. Had to cancel my Madworld order and place with DVDCrave.

How about 67 Disk, 10 Seasons, 218 Episodes of this Baby :D

Man, I've just never been able to get into that series. I guess, actually, I've never really got into many sci-fi shows at all. I'd be far, far more likely to buy Gilmore Girls than that. Which is kind of odd, really.

It just occurred to me that I'd be much better off buying the new hard drive I need with $150, though.

Uh, was it really random? I would've thought any Aussie PSN account that subscribes to the Sony newsletters/3rd party info would have received it.

365games.co.uk is my first choice. They have great deals on slightly older games plus free shipping to Australia and prompt delivery. CDWow have some good deals from time to time but you can be waiting months and months for your game even when you pre-order. PlayAsia are rarely the cheapest but are another option. But I'd start with 365games and go from there.

What is this newsletter of which you speak, and how would one go about signing up for it?
