VOOK said:$150 get you a Terabyte ohhhhh yeah
alistairw said:With change, from MSY. You know they sell everything at about 2% profit? Friend of mine used to manage their servers. Steam and iTunes have pretty much eaten up my whole 320GB HDD partition between them.

Wouldn't get it from there though they are going down the pisser.
alistairw said:Alternatively, just get someone you work with to bellow "what?" loudly at you as you try to point out things you'd like to buy from the MSY pricelist. It'll save you the trip.
Thanks for the heads up.alistairw said:EzyDVD are? Interesting. Might have to keep an eye on their retail store, hah. See if I can't pick up a closing down bargain or two.
Oh, speaking of which: AdelaideGAF, I was in Toys R Us yesterday (my girlfriend dragged me around six stores to try and find Kirby for DS, which is why she's the most amazing girl I've ever been with) and it looks like they're doing something pretty serious to the games section. Shelves at the back are empty, and possibly being pulled down. They're either making the section smaller, or...well, who knows. Definitely worth keeping an eye on it, though. There could be some real bargains sooner or later.
Actually, they had GRAW 2 for 360 for $20, but...meh. Not my thing. Probably still there if you're interested though. There were three copies.
Ewwwwww....alistairw said:Pleasure. I'm here for you, AdelaideGAF. You need heads up on some bargains, or you need to buy some ad space in a magazine, or you just need a hug, you come see me.
I will hug the fucking shit out of all of you.

Puck said:I've been to Auburn a few times and they were fine. Bad customer service, but they don't really need it. They can't afford to train people with product knowledge, you just go in there to buy shit, don't bother them with "what graphics card should i get" or as i went into Auburn last time "why should I get vista over xp". These guys don't give a shit, they only want to sell shit.
I've schanged to Chipping Norton MSY when it opened up last year as it is 10 minutes away from where I live. Chipping Norton is always dead, i've been in there nearly 20 times and never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Just walk in with my order # from my email.

alistairw said:They're hosting the worst named event in Australian festival history: Groovin the Moo. I'm going because neither Okkervil River nor Ratatat are playing Adelaide (we're such a ghetto). Then I'll be in Melbourne Sunday night to see Okkervil River again! I have such a mancrush on Will Sheff.
BendigoGAF, where do I go to drink in your fine town?
(Do we have a BendigoGAF?)
