On the rare occasion that Trump does something that pisses his base off, t_d shuts down any criticism that arrives.
Exact same thing happened with the missile strike against Syria.
Within 8 months he's lost almost everyone.
You could make an entire season of TV based on the campaign alone. It's going to take a 13-part miniseries at minimum to cover this administration.
Pence supports Trump's statements and positions. Essentially in a bid to say, "Stop asking us to invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment," on top of that.
