Well... I still have high hopes for Suicide Squad!

Reading this thread got everyone like:

Pretty much.

TMNT 2 wins I called it.

We Get TMNT universe instead of DCCU.

Honestly though, what evidence do we have that TMNT 2 is going to be good?

It's got Rocksteady, Bebop, and Krang?

Maybe some cars/stuff based on toys that 20-30 year olds had has kids?

The first one was gutter trash.

They're not going to fight each other senselessly for one.

This was Snyder's chance to redeem himself and he dropped the ball. Where he should have made an exciting and fun superhero film he made an overwrought, self-serious bore, learning nothing from MoS. I hope he's not on contract for more DCCU films.

But then the trailer 2 (or whatever it was) that featured a lot of dialogue, instead of just flashy Synder-Shots™, was universally slated. The scene with Lex introducing Bruce and Clark was woeful, and all the doubts I had about Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex were writ large on the screen.
That scene was like the best part of that trailer.
DCGAF masturbated on a vegetative girl's body?
You mean this movie?

He is directing the Justice League movie.

Unfortunately he's signed on to direct two Justice League movies.

One in 2017, another in 2019.

Let's be real, we all knew this wasn't getting anything higher than an 80% when they announced fucking Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

I legitimately thought reviewers and everyone would go apeshit just seeing Batman punch Superman and vice versa.

Was expecting another MoS but with better acclaim (75 RT)

Probably.

Unless Ralph goes literally goes into his Batman persona.

That shit would actually be hilarious then.

It's probably for the best that people's expectations are dropping. Maybe they can get some enjoyment out of it now instead of being terribly disappointed. I mean, there's some cool stuff in this movie, no doubt. It's just surrounded by a mess.

There's something Snyder will never be able to repay me
:(

I believe you could've exchanged it for Fandango credit.

"An exchange allows you to recoup both the cost of your ticket, as well as your convenience fee in the form of a Fandango Credit that may be used for a future purchase at any Fandango-ticketing theater."

That's what sucks the most. There are vague glimpses at a film and a cinematic universe that could have been great. But they're overshadowed by a completely horrid plot with lame characters and terrible pacing.
