Just found this...basically I might like this movie.

I do like him not directly translating the actors name but giving them nicknames that sound similar to the English pronunciations of the names. But then China like to do that.

I do wonder if he type and translate the message himself since the English translation sucks but got the message across.

I think he did do the translation himself; he's basically saying the same thing in the Chinese text but it sounds a lot more natural, lol.

I think his reactions are probably genuine HOWEVER it's worth nothing that in China they generally LOVE this sort of huge superhero movie mainly based on spectacle; since people don't understand English, a bad script/poor writing might not be immediately evident to them. (Not saying that BvS has poor writing, just indicating that it's worth taking everything with a grain of salt)

The big thing that bugs me is that it sort of bypasses the "what if I was fine with the tone of MoS and took issues with other parts of the movie" category. Like, not just the ending. I was actually 100% fine with the ending.

Reading some of the stuff around the net....

It looks like that Superman has indeed GOTTEN DAT WORK!!!

Bets have been won.

This is probably bullshit, but some guy said that
Black Adam kills Superman in the Knightmare sequence and that The Flash warns Batman of a possible Darkseid future.

Same here. It wasn't the tone or the ending that made me dislike Man of Steel

The Knightmare is a big freaking question mark. It's clearly at least semi-prophetic; if it was just Bruce having a regular bad dream, he wouldn't be seeing, parademons, firepits, or that giant Omega. So... what the hell is it? Is it the vision of some oracle that Wondy is acting on? Is it somehow linked to Flash time travel shenanigans? Is it just interspersed with no explanation given? I've seen a ton of theories and a fair bit of bullshit, but basically nothing reliable.

I wonder if maybe the Knightmare sequence is perhaps spread through the movie as these interstitial scenes that finally come together at the end, or is it rather one big sequence

Why are we calling it Knightmare btw, is it something ET specifically mentioned? Sounds cool though. :P

It's because of this figure a while back somebody spotted at a con, it was Batman in his duster/goggles outfit and the plaque in front of it read "Knightmare Batman."

Oh, cool. If they're officially acknowledging the sequence in this way, I hope it's a significant thematic part of the movie. It's certainly the most visually striking aspect in the trailers. One thing DC has over Marvel is their total weirdworld mythos where their heroes truly feel like gods, and there's a whole metaverse that plays with that concept narratively. Tapping into that right off Man of Steel is the smartest thing Snyder has done with DC so far imo.

y'know there is so much confusion on what is a real leak or not right now, I still have no idea on what to expect out of the film and ive read everything in this thread.

I think if I stop now, I'll still be surprised no matter what next week haha

Flash possibly being from the future opens up a lot of possibilities for the solo Flash film (not that it was limited to begin with)

For as impressive as Star Wars' secrecy was (and it was pretty impressive) the fact BvS isn't really spoiled more than it is maybe even more impressive.

Especially since the picture's basically been locked since last September.

On the other hand, it's possible there's a 100% accurate account floating around out there, and there's so many fake ones it's just impossible to pick it out of the crowd :P

Flashpoint movie could be super dope with this set of cast.

Like they got Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play papa Wayne, dude can kill it in the role for Flashpoint.

Could be, but there still isn't a 100% coherent blow by blow account for a film which seems packed with content. Everyone reporting on it just expands on stuff which are already known, and seems somewhat evasive about stuff outside the safety zone. It's interesting.

Yeah definitely true. Movie's definitely been in the can since then. Zimmer says he finished in November.

It's a 2h30m movie (3h apparently for the ultimate cut) and we basically only know of the scenes we've actually glimpsed in trailers...which in retrospect aren't that many considering the films runtime

To me, this was obvious. Zack could have chosen any chump for the Trinity to fight (Parasite, Metallo, Bizzarro, etc.), but he specifically chose Doomsday to the point of changing his origin as well into FrankenZod. Death of Superman was inevitable, but he'll be back of course. Like Jesus, do you get it?

Controlled leaks?

I don't understand, in a fight between Superman and Batman, inspired by The Dark Knight Returns, hyped up as the big way where Batman is introduced to a movie audience in this new universe, did anyone actually expect Batman not to "win" the fight? Like really.

Because TDKR is the worst comic to ever rely on for a Batman vs. Superman fight. Frank Miller has a history of treating Superman (amongst other DC characters) like shit. Other comics have done a much better job at depicting the conflict. Also, it's an unwinnable fight for Bruce no matter how much Clark holds back. No amount of metal can save Bruce from a God.

Flash possibly being from the future opens up a lot of possibilities for the solo Flash film (not that it was limited to begin with)

Flash warns Batman, Aquaman and Wonder Woman that Darkseid and Androids are coming, and that Superman will have a heart attack and die right before they invade.

Lol, you and some others were 100% certain Han would die months in advance. The secrecy was shit.

they said it's actually shorter than 2.5 hours. The credits are a whooping 8-9 minutes long so the film itself last 2:22 according to Snyder in the EW interview.

(Fake) spoilers are starting to appear everywhere now. Youtube comments and on various Reddit posts as well.

So Batman actually wins? Total horseshit.

So I've been reading around and think I found a real description of the movie. In it he describes the fight. If it is true then as a Superman fan I am more than okay with how it plays out. It might look like a loss but it's so in-character for this Superman (especially if the arc is done some justice up to this point) that I actually smiled while reading it. This is also the "even the most cynical will tear up" scene the guy from EW mentioned.

And not even post the description? Pshh, come on now. You know how this goes. Post it.

Alright alright alright... Here is the thread:

Here's the fight scene description -
Batman's helmet is half destroyed and he is stumped over in his battle armour. Superman spits blood from his mouth, weakened by a kryptonite spear Batman has set up before hand. The two stare eachother down, wondering who will take the next shot. Batman has just finished wailing on Superman (Dark Knight Returns), who had aloud him to do so, knowing if he fights back it'll be Man of Steel all over again. Eventually the two realise it was all Luthor behind this. The dialogue in the scene is superb with both characters feeling the pain they've caused the other, all because of a mis understanding and because they aloud eachother to be puppets in Luthor's plan. The two unite and in an epic shot, unite as the World's Finest.

Is it the one that says Supes allows himself to get beat up by Batman because he blames himself for the destruction and casualties during the fight with Zod?
