Batman v Superman Spoiler Thread: Don't believe everything you read, Son

I don't know if I'd be down with the Rock playing Black Adam. Then again I've been proven wrong before with Ledger and now what looks to be a pretty fucking awesome Affleck Batman.

Wait there are pics of BA?

Here's another one but it's pretty obvious fake:

Throwing the rock in the movie would be an easy way to spread word of mouth, especially if he decks Superman.

I'm not reading anything, are there any spoiler less reviews/ thoughts on the movie?
There were a couple of guys who did a spoilerless YT review that was taken down. It was just two random guys though not some official guy.

The most official thing we have is the guy who said something like:

If you loved MoS, you would love this. If you had issues with its ending, then you will like this. If you hated MoS, probably not for you. Tear jerker moment between Superman and Batman. Liked Jesse as Luthor and Gadot as WW. He overall enjoyed it.

And then there are the random Reddit "leaks".

There's boxoffice forums as well(scroll down to see BoxOfficeZ's post).

Second guy didn't like man of steel so I'm not surprised.

First one I'm curious why she feels it was a mistake to have the embargo. Is she implying it will review well?

Didn't we determine Z is full of shit, though?

And yeah, it seems like the implication is that WB made a mistake embargoing reviews because that's more positive word of mouth that could be getting out but won't.

They might let up on that embargo early if word gets back to publicity that people are enjoying it.

We did? I didn't hear anything about that.

Yeah you did. It happened earlier in this thread. Pretty sure you commented directly on it? I'll go back and look real quick.

edit: Yeah, it was page 2. You didn't comment on it though. But dude was just openly bullshitting about the contents of The Force Awakens, someone discovered.

Oh, wow, I did not know that, damn, I guess we can't trust him, shame really as the review sounded so positive.

The boz review sounds hot airy as hell

"Jeremy Irons is great. Not much screentime, but enough. Alfred always giving advice to Batman"

"Aquaman is in it, less than Wonder Woman who has less screentime than the the others".

"Theres moments in the film I won't spoil"

Its like skirting around actually saying anything.

I hope there is no after credits scene. DC should do their own thing.
I wouldn't mind that actually.

Some are too obvious, like Aquaman being in it far less than Wonder Woman since he's suppose to have like once scene anyways.

The Knightmare is pretty much their after-credits thing.

Superman 1 had the trial of Zod even if was only tangentially related to the plot. They should just do more stuff like that.

Yeah, it looks like they're doing a lot of easter eggs & fore shadowing with their knightmare scene. I hope the extended edition has more of it.

So far it seems like every character on the slate will be involved in BvS in some manner. We know Aquaman, Flash & Cyborg (presumably as Human) will show up in the film. That just leaves Hal or a GL, which Amboyer could be, and Shazam, which I think could be Black Adam in the Knightmare sequence, which is looking like it's set in Khandaq.

We had an executive recently state that we're getting no Green Lanterns until JL pt 2, though.

Sneaking Black Adam into this movie would be a hell of a thing

What the fuck, there were more? Where'd this one come from?

That one was off 4chan, so I mean, I don't know what to make of it because the funniest things get leaked there. There was another one that was proven fake with a hooded figure, think they pulled it from the Warcraft trailer.

It is really easy to make something like that up in photoshop though.

That could just be PR speak and dancing around it because if it is Hal, he could just be a pilot and not a green lantern. I'm not committing to either thing happening, it could just be Amboyer getting his name out there.

The problem with throwing all of these cameos in there is that most of the audience won't have a fucking clue who they are, so the "big moment" will fall flat. That's one thing that's nice about the MCU way.

For example the Deadpool end credits scene. Nobody in the audience knew who
Cable
is didn't really seem to care. People were just like "what? alright..."

Luckily this is the Rock so that helps, but still.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

Are there any reports saying he's definitely in? Would make the Knightmare scene more epic if he's definitely in.
I'd say he's not in because of Verendus constantly talking about Black Adam in the other thread and wanting to see him pop up somewhere, but at the same time he's talked about Black Adam since he saw the movie so I don't fucking know.

Haha, yeah, I've never heard a superhero movie post-credits scene get such a completely non-reaction like that before.

Saw some scans of the BvS official magazine, looks like Lois is reporting in a desert area.

Speculation:

Guessing it's the same place (Khandaq?) as the knightmare sequence. Maybe Lois gets in trouble and Superman bails her out and causes an international incident, leading to the senate hearing.

That confirms one of the earlier rumors from Reddit then

This is the first I learnt of Deadpool having a post-credits scene. Doesn't sound like I missed much :P

It was just a joke scene. He comes out of the toilet and tells everyone to go home because they have no budget for a post credit scene. Then he name drops Cable and talks more shit.

Yeah, Deadpool's post credits scene was making fun of Marvel's post credits scenes more than anything else. It also gets the comicbook readers hyped because hey Cable & Deadpool is some Premium Shit, but it wasn't really supposed to excite the general audience so much as serve as a parting gag.

Huh, I can't remember if he left asap with the credits or not but o well. I like the shot of Superman towing some huge ship or something through the ice...kinda reminds me of the silver-age superman towing an entire galaxy of planets. Or his sneeze destroying a galaxy...
